My Aotian

Wan Jia was silent. What was she supposed to say? If she accepted his apology, it would seem like she blamed him when in real sense she had only been blaming herself the whole time, and if she rejected it, it would seem like she still blamed him. Just as she was pondering how to handle the situation, Lu Aotian's phone rang.

"President, GX Technologies suddenly decided to cancel our collaboration. They even offered to double the compensation." His assistant reported.

"I'll be there in a moment."

Lu Aotian smirked. The other side was making a move. Since it was obvious they could not conquer Lu Enterprise, they were now attacking its subsidiaries. How soon....he missed them too.

Lu Aotian's "moment" actually meant feeding Wan Jia, processing her discharge, dropping her home and only when he was sure she was settled down comfortably and properly did he remember that he had an emergency to attend to. Even so, Wan Jia had to remind him before he reluctantly left after planting a peck on her lips as if was the most natural thing to do.

Poor Wan Jia, she was so shocked that she almost froze into an ice sculpture.

When Lu Aotian arrived at LSC, the other party was so angry he immediately flew onto rage. He had worked with Lu Aotian's father for a few decades and had never had to wait this long. Who did this little punk think he was?

LSC was one of Lu Enterprise's oldest subsidiaries and was based on web and software.

Their collaboration this time was to release LSC's newest antivirus. Lu Aotian sat opposite the chairman of GX Technologies and scanned him. This old man was throwing a tantrum on purpose as he had a hidden motive. Lu Aotian was one to notice the little weird things in his sorroundings and he had picked up enough loopholes to understand this old man clearly. He had probably agreed with the opponents to sell the information he had recieved when they signed the contract. That had been his motive from the very start. However, Lu Aotian only agreed to cancel the contract if he trippled the compesation, which he instantly did without even paying attention to the reasons and implications Lu Aotian was rambling on.

"Hmmph! He thinks just a few million dollars can scare me? I'll earn more when I sell their poor little virus. The joke's on him" The old man scoffed when he left Lu Aotian's office.

Lu Aotian stretched his hands and rested his head on the headrest behind him. "He thinks I showed him the real virus when I never even trusted him? That's a malware, old man...the joke is on you."

Meanwhile, Yun Xuan had brought snacks over to visit her friend. Wan Jia had just been discharged but she knew better than to bring fruits as they would never be eaten. Once the two women met, gossip was bound to happen.

"He kissed me!" Wan Jia suddenly blurted out when she had been holding in.

"Oh my God, what?" Yun Xuan dropped her popcorn and jaw at the same time.

"Yes!He really did. My Aotian really kissed me!!"

"Aaaaah! And then? and then? Quick! Tell me EVERYTHING!" The girls were literally exploding.

At that time, Lu Aotian called Wan Jia to check on her but her phone was on silent. Lu Aotian called severally and it seemed to have been answered accidentally, just in time to hear her call him her Aotian and explode in excitement because of that little peck.

Did she also have to tell her friend how his lips tasted? Were those two that gossipy? Also, was that little peck that significant to her? She even said she was not going to be able to sleep all night.

Hey, the main point was those two words- My Aotian. So she still felt he was hers... his heart melted. He suddenly felt the urge to rush over immediately and hug her.

In Wan Jia's apartment.

"Yo, you're not even watching. Chatting with your underground spy now, huh?"

"He's not a spy." Yun Xuan got annoyed.

Her new admirer worked for the Intelligence Unit and Wan Jia would always tease her and call him an underground spy.

This man had saved her from the flames. Years ago when her childhood boyfriend, or ex boyfriend to be precise, set her apartment ablaze, it was this man that saved her life. He was living opposite her at the time and noticed the smoke on his way out. That scumbag had even messed with the fire alarm. He really wanted her dead.

Ever since that incident, Yun Xuan always felt greatful to her saviour but because of his identity, they had not exchanged contacts and only met again by chance recently.
