Did young miss just...smile?!

Wan Jia spent the entire afternoon with Yun Xuan, as she taught her how to behave in front of the servants and her brothers, just in case they went back home within the month. Wanjia dragged her tired body into bed.

'Just Yun Xuan's daily routine is able to tire me out this much?'

Moreover, it excluded the morning routine as she would learn that the next day when she switched places with Yun Xuan tomorrow.

Just as she drifted off to sleep, the doorbell rang.

"How annoying! Who rings people's doorbells at this hour?! Do you want to die?!" She shouted in an extremely annoyed tone as she made her way to the door and opened it, only to see the face she did not desire to see any time soon.

"I'll pay all your money tomorrow."

"You may have to include 50% interest for the delay."

"Fine." She said and banged the door.

"You'll never get a kind-hearted landlord like me!" the old hag shouted at the closed door.

'What kind hearted landlord? Ringing my doorbell every few hours? Thank you for your kindness' she mumbled and drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, Yun family mansion.

"Young miss, your breakfast is ready," called nanny Rung, Yun Xuan's personal nanny.

"I have work to do." She replied impatiently and left.

Not long after she left, the maids started gossiping.

"Xiao Rong, why do you think young miss had plastic surgery?"

"Who am I to ask?"

"Aren't you the closest to her?"

"That doesn't mean I know about her personal matters, not like I wanted to know them."

"She looks beautiful," a little maid complimented.

"Maybe she just wanted to look more beautiful than usual? Don't all women want to look prettier nowadays?"

"Whatever it is, she looks much younger and more beautiful."

When Yun Xuan was done with work at her studio, she went shopping. The only way to avoid her bodyguards was to go the changing room. She looked back and forth to make sure the salesperson was distracted before swiftly walking into an occupied changing cubicle, where Wan Jia was waiting. They swiftly exchanged clothes before Wanjia came out wearing the dress that Yun Xuan had chosen to try on. She distracted the salesperson briefly as Yun Xuan hopped into the next cubicle with Wan Jia's chosen dress. She had already worn Wan Jia's scarf and huge shades. Wan Jia quickly completed the purchase and left first to avoid rousing suspicion.

It had only taken less than five minutes, she was now 'Yun Xuan'.

"Young miss, where should we go next?" the driver asked. Wan Jia was entranced for a while.

'What to do? I forgot about my voice! What if they discover I am not Yun Xuan?'

Just as she was about to speak up, the driver asked if they should head home to which she nodded and thanked the heavens profusely for saving her.

"Young miss, good evening." Greeted the servants who were lined up in two neat rows at the entrance.

Wan Jia almost fainted from the nervousness. Although her family background was not shabby, they were not rich enough to have this many servants! Let alone to have all of them greeting her at her arrival.

She simply smiled at them and went into the house, trying her best to remain calm. The servants were not shocked about her silence. However, did their young miss just smile? Although Yun Xuan would not be considered rude to the servants, she had never really had any interaction with them. If she needed anything done for her, her messages would only be relayed via her nanny. She also liked a calm and quiet atmosphere, therefore the servants were required to complete their tasks before she came back home, they would disappear to their rooms right after greeting her and only the chef and her nanny would stay to serve her dinner . In the morning, they would only instantly vanish when she woke up and only come back after she left the house. Besides, she always wore a poker face and her mood was unpredictable. To say they only saw her when she arrived every evening was no exaggeration. She had never looked in their direction, much less smile at them.

"Did the young miss just…smile?!"

"I thought I was dreaming"

"Heh, I lived long enough to see the young miss' smile. "

Her smiled seemed contagious and uplifted their moods.

Wan Jia heaved a sigh of relief when she finally managed to locate Yun Xuan's room using the photos she had been sent without looking lost.

However, the devil was not going to let her rest so easily.

"Second master is here!" a servant exclaimed and ran to welcome him.

Second master? Yun Xuan's second brother? Oh no! This happened sooner than expected!
