A TIGHT SLAP

After a few moments William arrived and his eyes were glued at the painting. Then he felt proud because the designs were his(he ordered an architect to create a complex design)! To take a close look he took steps forward and suddenly his eyes filled with horror.He didn't think that it was Anne.He saw a person lying flat on the floor and clothes on the back of the person was filled with blood.He drew his sword and went nearer.As he went close slowly, with each step he took his heart started beating faster.Her face was lying on the other side so he couldn't see her face.He saw her hands with bruises, bleeding and swollen and with the clothes he slowly identified that it was a woman.Seeing the blood he suddenly remembered of the maid saying that Anne was having her period.He was terrified.He ran towards her and lifted her face from floor and put it on his lap and rubbed her cheeks.No respond.He carried her and hurried to her room shouting the maids to send for the doctor.

The doctor arrived in no time and asked him to stand outside.Areana arrived there and threw a fit,"She didn't even clean the colours on the floor." William looked at her and wasn't expecting to hear a thing like that from anyone.He raised his left brow and said,"If you want to cry about the floor than go to your room." Areana said,"I believe it was my fault but it was you who told me that Anne could paint well". William said,"Yes she does and so she did. She did it beautifully ".Areana,"I can't believe I'm hearing this William, you are praising someone, you are actually praising someone first time in your entire life I say.I have a strong feeling that you have changed(in an irritating tone)". She left. Dew arrived and seeing her leave and hearing what she said just a moment ago he came nearer and said,"She is not married to you yet and behaving like your wife(went close to his wife).Do you take her as your wife?"William pushed him aside and said,"It's not funny, can you be more serious?" Dew moved a few steps away. William's heart was racing, he was still confused about what had happened, the scenes were horrifying.

The next moment, Queen arrived and went inside without even looking at him.Her movement made his mind a mess.He felt that she knew that Anne's condition was because of him.Even he didn't know that it would become this serious.He just wanted to have some fun embarrassing her.

After sometime the doctor and the queen came out.The doctor greeted the Princes and the Queen and left. The Queen gave a blank look at William and said in a rough tone ,"Follow me William, Dew stay here".The Queen went and sat on William's bed and buried her face in her hands and began to weep,"You are not my son, still I raised you, I raised you bearing every duty of a mother, yet this is what you do, embarrass me infront of everyone with your actions.(William was about to say something) Please let me speak and you be quiet and listen to what I say child, after a few decades you are going to be the King.Being a King and ruling a kingdom is not an easy task. But from my point of view you don't even have any qualities to be a King, how can I believe that you can be a good King in the future.You don't respect people,you don't respect even a Princess of your own kind.I am afraid with you ruling the kingdom, it will be it's downfall.(after a brief silence, the queen still weeping)What do you have to do with Anne?What is your problem with her?She has recently lost her mother, do you have to be mean to her.I know she was irritating in her childhood but time has changed.She is grown up now and understands a lot of things which....brats like you don't understand.I am afraid after sometime we'll even lose Areana if you go on with your stupid activities (William chuckles,Queen looking straight at him with burning eyes)".She stood up and gave a tight slap on his face.Starting to leave , in the doorstep,"I wish I was dead as your bloody(emphasising the word 'bloody') mother".
