Very Sudden Changes

My name is Aelita Graves, and my life was fairly decent one. My family was a very good one, my parents loved me, and I wasn't spoiled nor ignored. I got my name because I had the similar features to my father's favorite cartoon character, Aelita Stones. I eventually watched the show when I was 9, and asked my parents if I could change my black hair to a similar pink as the character, but much to my displeasure, they said I had to wait until I was at least 18.

School was very fun and surprisingly easy from the moment I entered elementary school. I never tried my hardest, because I thought to myself, what was the point? With that thought in my mind I did my work, but not to the best of my ability. I still always somehow ended up in the top 5% of the school every year though. Eventually, my senior year of high school came, and with the same thoughts of not trying, I managed to get a scholarship into one of the best music colleges in the country. Before I even set foot on the campus, I dyed my hair to a similar pink of character, and even got a few compliments from a few people about how much I look like her. With all of this, it came to an end one day.

When I was on my computer one day taking a break from a project for one of my classes, an ad popped up asking, "Would you like to live in a more interesting world?" I, of course not taking it seriously at the time, clicked on it and clicked yes. I suddenly found myself in a seemingly endless white room. When I looked around I saw a man asleep on a couch.

As I got closer he woke and as if he remembered something very important, he panicked a bit. Eventually, he calmed down and started to ask me questions that he said would determine my future. I answered honestly because I saw no real reason to lie for some reason.

???: Are you Aelita Graves?

me: Yes???

???: Ahhh... that's good, I thought I had the wrong person for a moment. Anyways, let me clarify one thing that most people would be freaking out about right now. No you're not dead, but I am God.

me: Interesting. So, "God". Any particular reason why I'm in this vast space, with just you and a couch?

God: Don't give me that sarcasm, I'm actually God thank you very much. And yes. You have been selected to take a trip to a different world with 4 wishes. Any questions?

me: A few believe it or not. Can I change my appearance and name, know what kind of world I'm going to, and can the wishes be anything?

God: You can change your name to anything you wish. Your appearance can be changed to most anything, except if you want a race change or want to be a peerless beauty. For these two you need to use one of those wishes. You're going to the world of Danmachi. Finally, the wishes can be ANYTHING.

me: I want my name to be Aelita Stone, and my appearance to be that of the character. Can I hold onto my wishes for a bit when I leave? Finally will I be reborn or transported to this world?

God: All of that can be done, and whichever one you want.

me: Okay now for my first two wishes. I may not have read too many light novels, but a video game system seemed to be pretty good for various reasons. I want a system with the standard features of status, inventory, shop, and missions. My second wish is for a billion points to spend in the shop of my system.

God: I get the system thing, but why the points if you can use the 3 remaining wishes for anything?

me: That's very simple. 3 wishes is great for the best quality, but if I'd want more of the best quality stuff I'd need to do a crap ton of missions.

God: Very good point. Alright Aelita Stone, you shall now be transported to the world of Danmachi. One last question, do you know anything about this world?

me: NOPE!

God: I figured. Your system will give you specifics, but I will give you a quick summary. This world is a world where Gods roam the Earth. They roam it to escape the stale life of Heaven. There is a labyrinth in the city I'm going to put you near, deep inside of it is a monster that could ruin the mortal realm. The dungeon is a seal where mortals or adventurers in particular defeat the weaker monsters. They do this to gain materials for money and much more. There are Familias or households run by the various gods and goddesses. A god is required in order for someone to get stronger through updating their status board or parameters. You can get stronger faster by being in more dangerous situations and breaking your limits. There are levels too, where once you gain enough parameters you can level up and have it compressed to become even stronger. When a god is checking it, the status board shows:

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Name:

Age:

Level:

Power:

Endurance:

Dexterity:

Agility:

Magic:

Skills:

Magic:

Development skills:

________________________________________________________________________________________

Normal skills are basic skills and are the easiest to improve with practice such as bow mastery or swordsmanship. Magic is simply learning magic and having gained a level of proficiency. Development skills are more profession based than anything like the blacksmith development skill. Also when you check your own status through the system it'll add your race because you could change that. Any more questions?

me: Nope not really.

God: Good, then I'm about to start the transfer so be prepared. You'll wake up in a forest WEST of Orario, so remember WEST. There will be goblins that are weaker than the ones in the dungeon in the forest so have fun.

me: Goodbye "God".

God: Goodbye Aelita.

I will admit that coming towards the end, I started to think about all the things I'll have to keep track of. The freaking parameters, skills and description of skills, a consistent cost to the stuff in the shop and sooooo much more. I seriously don't think that this will be updated constantly, but I can promise every while there will be a chapter, it's just that I'm young and don't have the commitment needed to do this for a living quite yet. So goodbye.
