News travels fast...

[Ozpin's Office]

Ironwood: First the prisoner escapes and now the Fall Maiden is gone. Ozpin, what going on here? Who are our enemies?

Ozpin: Well, you flew Winter here for extra protection against those enemies. Winter, what was your experience with this masked assailant.

Winter: It was a little strange. He seemed hesitant to engage in combat with me the moment he saw me.

Ironwood: It could just be because they have information on some of the Atlas forces.

Ozpin: If its who I think it is then were going to have a lot of trouble on our hands.

Ironwood: Ozpin, just tell us what you know.

Ozpin: I would've preferred if Qrow was here as well, but I'm pretty sure everyone in this room has heard of the huntress, Miracle. Miracle was said to be not only a top tier huntress but a miracle worker as well which earned her her current huntress name. However, when she was attending Beacon she was known as Scarlet. Scarlet had a powerful semblance that could do anything. She was the closest thing to a god I've ever seen in all my life. She could fly, move at super speeds, and erase anything she wanted from existence. In my opinion, she was practically invisible. I wanted her help with defeating Salem but she refused to do anything that involved her power. Afterward, she left Beacon and started traveling across the globe.

Ironwood: Do you believe she has anything to do with what's going on?

Ozpin: No, I heard that she's currently missing at the moment and that no one knows where she is or what she's doing.

Ironwood: Why bring her up then?

Ozpin: I believe that her child is currently attending Beacon or is one of the schools competing in the competition. When I encountered them at the dance, I felt the familiar presence coming from Scarlet when they used her power.

Ironwood: Can you track them down if they activate their semblance?

Ozpin: No, I was only able to tell because they were interacting directly with my magic. There is honestly no way for us to find out who the masked assailant is unless they slip up and give themselves away somehow. I don't think that the masked assailant wants to cause chaos since they seem to refrain from harming the people at the academy and Winter. The students should have a better idea of who is then us, but there is no way of gaining more information without tipping the person themselves that were looking for them. Although, we need to keep a closer eye on the team that had the mysterious woman (Cinder) in it since she ran away. Hopefully, they can lead us to her or Scarlet's child.

Ironwood: Based on the footage and Winter's testimony, it seems that he goes back into the city after each of these events. Winter, I'll have you monitor the exits more closely and make sure that there isn't any suspicious activity going on. They might be sneaking in and out of the academy without our knowledge.

Winter: Yes, sir.

[Jack POV]

I sneak through the city and make my way back into Beacon. Right before I entered, I change the armor into my school uniform since I didn't have time to go change into my regular uniform besides today's classes were mostly non-combat classes. I sneak inside and rush through the hallway to make sure I wasn't late to class. On the way, I ran into Olga who was also rushing to class.

Olga: Hey. We're going to be late buddies today.

Jack: You lack the skill necessary to be on time.

I trip Olga and rush past him to our first period with Professor Freeze. I made it on time while Olga was late to class thanks to my intervention.

Olga turns to me and fakes an expression of betrayal on his face as if to say why I would do something so horrible.

Prof. Freeze: Late again Olga.

Olga: You know professor you look amazing today. Did you change your hair?

Prof. Freeze: No.

Olga: I see. Well, you look great anyway.

Prof. Freeze: I want a five-page report on the history of a huntsman on my desk by tomorrow.

Olga: Yes, professor.

Olga walks into class and sits right next to Eve. Olga looks a little sad about the whole event. I pay him no mind and try to focus on class. It's really hard to though since I keep thinking about Amber and what she's going to do. What if she tells people who I am? Can I really trust someone that I know nothing about? It's a little late to be thinking that I guess. I just really want to protect Beacon and do the right thing but even with knowledge of the future, this world seems different than the one I'm familiar with. Before I know it, time seems to pass by and its time for lunch. I sit down for lunch with team RWBY and team JNPR.

Ruby: Guys, did you hear that Calamity appeared again last night.

Olga: Calamity?

Blake: It's the new name were calling the masked man since he doesn't seem to speak at all.

Jaune: Do you think that he's mute or just refusing to talk?

Nora: He's probably all like I do not concern myself with the opinions of ants.

Yang: Either way, what was the point of him appearing last night anyway. I heard that something was missing but none of the staff or students know exactly what was taken.

Ren: It must've been important because I heard that they tightened security around campus as a result.

Eve: What does he want anyway? Its unclear what his motives were for starting both of those events. If we knew what he was trying to do, then it would be easier to find him. Jack, what do you think.

Jack: I don't know. I'm still a little shocked that you already named him something like Calamity, but if I had to guess then maybe his motive is tracking down that mysterious woman we found him with.

Ruby: It was such a scary scene. I thought he was going to kill her when I shot at him. I mean what could she have done to warrant that kind of treatment.

Eve: You'd be surprised at just how cruel people could be sometimes even to the ones closest to them.

Kim: We don't need to get all depressed talking about this guy.

Weiss: It's just that he's a wild card that was thrown into the mix and doesn't seem to fit anywhere. I mean come on. There's nothing that connects him to anything or anyone as far as I could tell. Not to mention he was seemingly invincible.

Jaune: You're telling me, he read all of my moments like a book and managed to take all of us on at once.

Olga: At the very least none of us could take him one on one so we should call for help before engaging.

Eve: Even if we called for help, it still doesn't guarantee that we can stop him. Plus, it didn't work out when we were together the last time. Not to mention what would happen if he decided to attack us next time.

Olga: We'll just catch him off guard. A strong enough blow to the head should knock anybody out, but whoever's there will only get one shot so use it wisely.

Soon enough lunch was over and the rest of my classes went by in a flash, but not a final flash. Anyway, as I was leaving the school grounds, I got a call from Weiss explaining that Winter's at Beacon and that I should go see her later. I already knew she was here but It would be nice to see my sister without a disguise on. I stroll through town taking in the scenery until I see from a distance a fireball shooting directly into the sky. Why? Is it too much to ask for nothing to happen for one day? I look around and find a concealed location to change my outfit into the one for Calamity and take off into the direction of the fireball.

Amber POV is next.
