Mana Bullet

After 1 day passed, Adam is again back in the forest. He came here to hunt again and to test the new spell he bought with the 50 points, Mana Bullet.

He bought this spell because it just needs to gather mana like the mana shield, so no chant and the power can be controlled. Different from the fireball that he can only use 2 times. Well, that and the fact that fireball burns down the corpse lower the price of it, that rank 0 spirit beast sold for just 20 copper.

Mana Bullet power will be according to the magic power used, if he uses 1 magic power it will be powerful as a child punch,2-3 magic power will be the same as a teenager punch and 4-5 magic powerful as an average and powerful adult punch.

In the forest, he found 2 normal wolfs, activated mana shield and hit 2 mana bullets in their heads making them pass out. He got near them and killed them with the 15 copper knife he bought, after all, he can't just go around wasting mana. He got back to the city and sold the two wolf corpses for 20 copper coins because they were in perfect condition and got back to the hotel.

In the hotel room, he was seated cross-legged in the ground with his eyes closed. The mist-like magic power in the room was slowly entering his mind, he already learned how to meditate though he obviously can't go fast as the system.

After meditating for a long time and feeling like he can't anymore, he opened his eyes feeling refreshed and spoke to the system:

'My magic power increased' Adam thought happily. By the system words, when he reaches 70 magic power he will be an intermediate apprentice. But then he realized that five magic power per day will make him an intermediate apprentice in nine days and his excitement cooled down, feeling like it is too slow.

If the people of the mage world heard Adam thought, they would spill blood. He is unconsciously treating it as a game that you level up fast. Adam talent is the best possible because the system remodelled his body to have the best talent for magic, other apprentices have to spend months meditating and he is complaining about spending a week.

Then, for the next 3 days, Adam continued to meditate, hunt, and started practising his spells. Adam magic power recovery rate is 1 per half a minute if he don't is meditating.

The result of all that is he can now put more magic power in the fireball gained 50 copper and the most important of all, his magic power is now 40.

Adam now has a new objective, making a potion. The low-level mana potion recipe is 100 points and it recovers 20 mana.

Adam got out from the inn and walked towards the forest like he has gone the past 3 days. He was walking around in the forest when he witnessed a black tiger slightly bigger than normal. It found him too and advanced towards him roaring.

Adam quickly chanted seeing the tiger coming.

"Fire become a ball and destroy my enemies, Fireball!"

The tiger hit the slightly bigger than normal fireball with his paw and was flung back with an explosion. The tiger in flames got up and shook his head, roared with pain and anger and ran towards him again wanting to tear him to pieces.

Adam quickly activated Mana Shield, the tiger paw hit the shield and was repulsed back leaving him distracted. Adam shoots a Mana Bullet with the biggest amount of mana he can put in the tiger head. The tiger was flung back again and was standing up while shaking. He shoots 2 fireballs one after another in the tiger head, and it finally got down, showing no more signs of movements.

Adam shoots a weak Mana Bullet in it after remembering the wolf incident but seems like it was really dead this time.

"System what was this tiger?"Asked Adam while approaching the body still a little traumatized.

"A middle Rank 0 spirit beast with the strength of an intermediate Martial Apprentice, it has a core."

Adam becomes overjoyed knowing it has core because he can trade it with points. He waited for flames to die down before cutting its belly with the knife. He pulled out a red nucleus of it.

He sold it to the system for 100 points. he cut the tiger parts because he can't carry all of it and was going to go back to the city when an arrogant voice sounded :

"You, put this Black Tiger parts to the ground and go away"

A youth dressed in expensive clothes with an arrogant face and 2 others who look like lackeys appeared.
