You're The King?

"Hayden...I release you from your duty on behalf of the late King. You are free from today. You're not obligated to my word or any of my father's task anymore." Yuina said with one breath.

"And why is that?" Hayden a bit surprised, but he still calm and maintain his voice under control. Yuina can be a bit stubborn and he already used to that long ago.

"I..I don't want to hold you back anymore. You've been taking good care of me. You deserve to be happy too. Your..your clan..they need you. They have longed for you since you start working in the castle-"

"You're saying that again. Why do you keep pushing me back to my tribe, princess? Are you really want to get rid of me? Annoyed with me? Hate me? Which one? Tell me to make me clear about it." He interjects her word.

"I.."

Yuina sighing. "You know what, I need to rest. Can you leave me alone?"

Hayden stood up and before he leaves her he said "You know what, princess. Staying with you is my choice. No one forces me to do it. And I do what I want to do and what I think best. I will still stick annoyingly close to you, so bear with that."

He closes the door and exhales for a second before he went to his room.

Yuina was speechless and a quite surprise to Hayden's boldness.

'Now I feel bad for Alya.' She sighing before she returns to the bed and sleep.

The next day,

Kyra, Zane, and Farrell relaxing at the pagoda in the backyard and not long after that Yuina also joining them. Her face still sullen and look a bit depressing. That makes Zane scrunch his eyebrow.

"Yuina..come here. Sit." He pats at the pillow beside him.

Following what he says, Yuina sits beside him and facing Kyra and Farrell.

"You look rather sad. What happens? Tell us." Zane start. He notices Yuina's weird attitude since after the girl named Alya came. Something must have happened to her. That's what he thought.

"Yeah. You look all sluggish and not as vibrant as always. Tell us, is it because of love? I think I also saw Hayden's gloomy face this morning. Bickering?" Kyra took a guess while her eyes are quite excited to hear this two argument story.

"Hmm.." Yuina staring at the table blankly before she continues again.

"Hayden..he..he actually supposed to get engaged, but then something happens and here we are. Trapped in this situation."

Zane's eyes feel like it almost popped out with the news he hears just now. While Kyra's jaw also dropped to the lowest. Farrell? Well, he sits calmly and listens to it like he did not surprise at all.

"W..wait, wait, so..you mean, he is someone else fiance? He..he..had another woman?" Kyra stuttering.

"Whoa, whoa, that's sound impossible. He is not someone like that. He won't deceive a woman, not you, Yuina." Zane speaks from his perspective.

"Who is his fiance? You know her?" Farrell asks.

Looking at Farrell, she nods her head slowly. Making both of Kyra and Zane surprise again.

"It's...Alya."

And that is when the pagoda turns silent as grave after hearing another shocking news.

"Hey, what are you guys doing?" Hayden comes to the pagoda five minutes later. He just finished his morning routine. Exercise.

"Hay...Hayden." Zane turns to look at him like he is a robot. Rigid and awkward.

"What's wrong?" He asks and takes a step closer under the pagoda's roof.

"Is it true? You actually supposed to get engaged?" Zane gulps a bit after asking those question.

Well, impossible right? Hayden clearly loves Yuina. He can't be wrong. His playboys' eyes see through every tiny little thing Hayden do to Yuina. All of it showing the act of love.

Hayden looks at all of them. Three of them waiting for his reply while Yuina, she just blankly staring the wooden table.

"Yes. I'm supposed to get engaged. Why?"

Zane was almost faint. 'Seriously? How come? Is it an arrange marriage?'

Kyra blinks her eyes a few times. He told her that he loves Yuina, ready to risk his own life for Yuina, and now..now he said he has someone else who he supposed to get engaged with?! Is his brain broken or what? No wonder Yuina look so depressed. Oh my dear, Yuina...

Kyra looks at Yuina with a pitiful expression.

"Man..that's so unwise for you to play with maiden's heart, you know?" Zane said while shaking his head helplessly.

"Play with maiden's heart? I don't get it. What are you guys talking about?"

"Why didn't you tell us that you supposed to get married to that girl, Alya? No wonder you guys look so close yesterday." Kyra said.

"Alya? Married? You..you guys thought I was supposed to engage with her?" Hayden knit his eyebrows. Clearly, showing he was confused.

"Yeah..that's what Yuina just told us." Kyra nods her head.

Sighing, Hayden look at Yuina's direction. "Princess..where did you hear that?" He still uses a gentle tone to her.

"Hm?" She turns to look at his eyes, lifeless. "I heard from your servant."

"Is that why you keep pushing me back to my tribe?"

"They need you. Alya needs you." She said with a low voice and turn to look at the wooden table again.

"Oh god…" Hayden runs his finger through his hair and inhales for a bit before he exhales it. Ready to explain the real situation.

"Listen. All of you. It's true I was supposed to get engaged with someone. But that someone is not Alya. She is someone else. The one I love and care is you, Princess Yuina Zephyrine Edward IV."

Yuina snapped her head to looked up at Hayden with a shock expression.

'Is he..is he..huh?? Seriously???!!'

Hayden looks at Yuina like he can read what she thinks. "Yes, you heard me well. I LOVE you and I will not let you go. You got that?"

Yuina nods her head.

"Good! Now, which part are you still not understand, again?" He asks and looks at all of them which is clearly shocked beyond imagination.

Krik.. krik...krik...

Five seconds past without anyone trying to talk. All of them still digesting what just happen. Did Hayden lose his temper? Or did he make an open confession to all of them? Declaring that he loves Yuina in front of everyone. Very brave of him.

"Uhm..if Alya is not..y..your fiance, then who..who is she?" Kyra tries to open her mouth. Still, she still can't accept if later Yuina will be hurt again if his true fiance will show up. Who knows...

Hayden turns to look at Yuina which is clearly still shocked.

"She.." He stops his sentence. This is supposed to be a secret until Yuina can gain back her crown and decide it by herself. But, keeping a secret like this will lead her to misunderstand again. He sighing again.

"My supposed to be fiance is..you, Princess."

Gasps!

Kyra covers her mouth. Zane's eyes turn even wider than before. Farrell also snapped his head to look at Hayden.

Yuina static at her place. Did not look at Hayden at all. Well, she actually did not hear what he just say. She still in a daze when Hayden said that he loves her.

"Y..y..you.." Kyra stuttering.

"The.." Zane continues.

"King." Farrell utter the last word.

Ten-second pass between the silent before the three of them return back to the earth.

"You're the King????!!!" The three of them finally shout it in sync, while Hayden sighing and nod his head.

"Huh?" Yuina looks blank when the three of them shout something that she didn't hear at all.
