A Shield, huh? Adrian supposed that his power wouldn't make any difference on his father's. Enhancing a shield would simply make it thicker.

Was his power truly only dangerous to telepaths? May had seemed excited about having her ability upgraded. The other abilities she mentioned didn't seem like they would be physically harmful if they were expanded on either.

Still...he didn't want to unknowingly hurt anyone else. If his power truly was safe to the masses then all he would have to do was avoid telepaths, which he had been planning to do anyway. He might be able to continue to live normally after all.

"May said you think that 3-6% of the population has some sort of power. Why do you think that?" Adrian asked.
