A family of three, a mother, a father and a son went inside the training grounds for soldiers to meet their commander, Sir Tigreal.

As they pass through the pathway, some soldiers would salute and greet the family for the parents has the most achievement in assassination missions and in the recent mission they were in a deadly situation they came back severely injured.

The mother, Joyce was one of the best magicians that can control fire in the kingdom while the father, Miles was one of the best swordsmen in the kingdom only below two ranks of Tigreal. The son whose age is about 5 and the hope of his parents or their bundle of joy.

As they went through the training ground they went to an office to ask for a family vacation and will not be on the job for a while due to their injuries. They knocked on the wooden door and waited for a response.

"Come in." the family heard the response and entered the office seeing their commander with a pile of papers. Tigreal looked up from his desk raising an eyebrow "What can I do for both of you?"

"why both? Can you not see that I am here too?" Alucard with a red face pouted at Tigreal.

"My apologies, little man. But I did not see you there." a teasing voice came out of Tigreal.

Joyce saw how cute her child when angry with a cough catching their attention "We would like to take a break and have a family bonding. This will also help us heal from our injuries." while Miles who as no power to say anything, just nodded to his wife's words.

"Alright you can take a break from going on missions but please come back after your full recovery" Tigreal then sigh with disappointment in his eyes.

Alucard eyes light up, excitement filled his heart on what things they would do together.

"yes! Mom and dad can play with me" Alucard then turned to his parents. Both mother and father look at each other, then at their son who was counting how many things they would do outside the kingdom and at their hometown.

"Come on let's go back home so that we can pack our things. Let's go! Let's go! Let's go!" Alucard shouted at his parents pulling their arms.

"Okay let's go home shall we?" Joyce glance at her son pinching his right cheek.

Alucard looked at his mom and then his father raising both his arms stating that he was to be carried. Joyce laughing at her son's affection but still carried him. Alucard then hugged her mom's neck and kissing her cheek then laying at her shoulder not bothered by both his father and the commander.

Miles smiled looking at his son and wife can't help but feel proud of being a husband and father for the two of them.

"We will be outside to see how soldiers train. would you like that Alucard?" Joyce turned her son who nodded eagerly, curious about the training. Then looked at her husband and to her commander with a nod from her husband then she went through the door.

As soon as Joyce left with Alucard there was silence in the room. Awkwardness by both men can be seen. Tigreal cough to relive some of the awkwardness from the room then looked seriously at Miles.

"Do be careful outside the kingdom, there were reports stating a blood demon near side-leaf town."

"Yes commander, I will stay vigilant and be aware of our surroundings" Miles nodding at his commander. For so many years blood demon tend to ambush people be it, civilians, nobles or army they won't stop attacking outside the kingdom some even tried to attack within the kingdom but fail to escape security.

"Then I will be taking my leave, commander." Miles then bowed to Tigreal and left the room. Meeting his wife and son, as they stare at the skies.

Miles then went to them and hugged his wife from behind also looking at the sky he thought to himself that 'This is life.'
