Book Two: Part 1: Chapter Twelve: Katsu Wavers and Rin's Determination Part One

Last time, Rin was sent to track down all six of us.

As we were running, we ran into Rio and Arisa. Ally, isn't that Rin's son and wife? I asked. Yeah, that is who we are. Where is my husband? Arisa asked. Well you see. Aoi replied. As Arisa said that Katsu and Rin are still fighting. Bring my husband to right now! Arisa yelled. No, we can not. Aoi replied. Much as we might be worried about them we have to let them settle this. Where is my husband, Aoi? Arisa asked. You see that explosion of sliver and crimson flares in the distant. Tomoe replied. Who is he fight? I know that silver. The crimson flares sinister and hellish. I hope he wins. Arisa replied. What if we told you who the crimson one is. Hironori replied. We rushed over the cliff. Katsu and Rin are clashing. Rin shattered Higanbana. Katsu got kicked in the stomach sending him flying into the trees. Katsu laughed. You think shattering Higanbana will mean I can't use it. I can summon her from anywhere. Katsu replied. Katsu stud up and summoned her from thin air. Rin came in front of Katsu and again. Let me ask you this. Rin asked. What do you want to ask me? Katsu asked. Why did you become the Crimson Eyed Reaper? Rin asked. I'm surprised the family head wouldn't tell you. After all we aren't really considered family. Katsu replied. What do you mean? Rin asked. The Crimson Eyed Reaper is a fate that is chosen at birth. I look and sound just like Hironori. He is the first Crimson-Eyed Reaper. Katsu replied. Hironori is the most carefree guy I have ever seen. Rin replied. The curse of Crimson-Eyed Reaper is to lose everything you care about and making you lose your humanity. You must find something to put your mind at ease. Katsu replied. You are making excuses for taking human life. Rin replied. I might have taken human life but let me ask you a question. How are the people of those nations? Are they happy or in despair? Katsu replied. I almost lost Ally. I almost gave into despair. Katsu replied. Yes, did you lose but I am stil going to arrest you. I don't care if you are my brother I will have you sent to the stake, again. Rin replied. The Ten Generals walked over. Sophia cheers on Rin for capturing Katsu. Katsu glared at Sophia and the Ten. Above the Ten were a barrage of swords appeared. Lady Sophia, the Generals above you! Rin yelled. Rin ran. Katsu looked and smile. So that coldhearted woman is using her magic Acacia Magic, I see. Katsu mumbled. Rin you can protect them. My loyalty lies towards to my friends and Megumi Shura. Katsu replied. A girl appeared and stopped the sword attack. She appeared sitting on the tree branch. Rin looked how the time stopped. That is one hell of parlor trick. Akari replied. I might hate these old fogies before the get their seats but I wouldn't try to massacre them. Akari replied. Katsu looked at the girl. The girl smiled. She summoned a weapon and slashed something. The swords turned in rain. The Ten Generals were applauded. I see Sophia and a few others that I despise in one place. Akari replied. I figured if the Crimson War Goddess arrived to help this reaper, you would appear as well Time Sorceress. Sophia replied. Oh yeah kid, you better make it to "her" before she gets snatched from you again. Akari replied. How can you say that so nonchalantly?! Katsu yelled. Stop yelling, you sound like Katsu and look like Lady Hina badgering me and go. Akari replied. Lady Hina? Katsu? Rin thought. Katsu and Rin run in the forest. I have to see if my wife and Rio are alright. Rin replied. Katsu looked to the side before he slashed a portal. As the two walked through the portal, Higanbana had a little blood on it. Daddy, a man is begging for his life over there. Rio replied. Rio, what are you talking about? Rin asked. Katsu shook the blood of Higanbana sword. Rin looked at the body and the blood stain on Higanbana. Did you just kill in front of my son, Katsu?! Rin yelled. I didn't to do a clean job of it. Katsu replied. The mastermind appears.
