Han's Day Off

The next morning, it was a Saturday so there father had stayed at home.

They had a plan to go out as a family; of course this idea was introduced by the mother. The father was very pleased with Maria, a peaceful family was what he needed after all the chaos.

He just wanted a peaceful family after receiving money and power.

They were planning to go out to have brunch and go sightseeing; parks or random monuments.

It sounded like a peaceful family day out, but behind the scenes, there was a war. Athena had reminded her sister, to think carefully and act carefully around her mother.

Athena knew her mother's plan to secretly incite Helen and to make the 11 year old have an outburst. Which will make Han think Helen was rude or undisciplined. While she and Athena acted pitiful.

Making him more guilty toward the mother-daughter pair.

"Darling, please be more creative. Oldest trick in the book." Athena laughed sarcastically in her heart as she got ready to go out with her family.

When Helen reached downstairs, she saw everyone was already there. Maria was dressed in a purple dress, her father in a purple shirt and black pants. Whereas her sister was in black pants and blue shirt similar to hers.

The two had a couple's outfit, thinking about it made her cringe. Another thing she noticed was that her sister looked nothing like her father of Maria. Probably a coincidence or when she grows up she might look more like her parents.

The 'family' of four silent ride the car towards a famous restaurant, the couple at the front, Han driving while Maria was at the shotgun seat. The two sister at the back, Helen whispering at how the two were wearing couples outfit.

The original plan was to take a driver instead but Maria 'suggested to go out as a 'family' and to bring no additional personnel. Her humbleness just made Han think more positively about his 'wife'.

In the restaurant.

The atmosphere was very harmonious, Athena was conversing with her 'father' about her new school and how 'fun' it would be to go to 'IVY school of elite'. The best school in the country.

Helen on the other hand was conversing with Maria and telling how fun it would be to have her sister studying with her. Maria talked to Helen about how happy the family was and

how happy the two father and daughter looked because they were in each other's company.

Maria tried to entice Helen in every conversation, secretly saying words with double meaning. It may seem like nothing was wrong when she said most of the things. But if focused correctly you could notice the harsh meaning behind the sweet words.

Helen was freaked out at how easily, Maria was able to day all of the things with a smile. If she wasn't reminded by Athena that her mother had ulterior motives. She would have thought her saying this words were accidentally said because of Maria's acting.

The woman was truly out for blood.

Helen was about to say something harsh, when her 'step-mother' said something with double meaning. This time she had said something about her mother.

"Clank" Athena had 'accidentally' dropped her spoon and quickly apologized.

The sound made Helen regain her composure. She was really thankful for Athena's reminder, Helen turned more careful and calm afterwards.

The whole family continued there brunch 'happily. With fun small talks that made the atmosphere seem very harmonious.

After the brunch the family went to a park. The park had a lake with ducks and plenty of fishes. Not many people were there, because it was quite expensive. They could feed the birds, with food bought from the park's store.

They all fed the birds and walked around the park. There was a tour guide to take you around the park and give information to visitors about the birds and other cool stuff about park.

Maria and Han were tired after walking around the park for a very long time and so were the girls so they decided to go home. It was getting dark and Han drove the family home. By the time they reached home it was already 5.00 clock.

After reaching home, Maria said she wanted to make dinner for the family and went to the kitchen. They were a total four maids working in the house, right now two maids were on duty and Maria had enough help to make dinner.

Maria had wanted to make dinner but she wasn't the best at cooking. Previously she would survive on the money given to her by Han and therefore had a maid to make food for her.

When Athena was six she had started cooking and Athena was usually responsible for making food in the house.

So Maria was a bit unsure about making dinner, but when she saw the two maids she 'asked' them to 'help' her make food.

The two maids mostly did the work, where as Maria acted like she was doing the work and instructing them how to do it.

The two maids were made at the new lady's behavior but knew what was best for them. The maids finished making the dinner with the lady's help.

Both maids were thinking about their previous madam and how their previous made her treated them with respect. The previous madam actually made food and helped around the house. Rather then instructing others to do the work and taking credit.
