The new Mike

Class 1-A continued on with their classes and usual shenanigans like normal with some minor disturbances as doctors came and examined Mike while the students pay more attention to Mike being very careful of not accidentally hurting him or speaking very loudly and slowly when they talk with Mike but besides that everything was normal

Atlas life for a class 1-A student cannot be normal for long so 2 weeks before the sports festival a small or large, depending on how you look at it, the incident happened

*Driiiiiiin*

As the bell sounded class 1-A has just finished their last class yet when they opened the door what greeted them is a crowd or rather Mobs that are blocking their way out of the classroom and being really really loud

"What the heck is going on? Why are you here?" Uraraka screamed out on the top of her lungs once she saw the crowd hoping for her voice to reach the ears of her fellow classmates or someone reasonable within the mob

"They're here to scout out the competition, to see the students that overcame the villain attack. You won't find anything here so scram you mobs!" Stepping out in a confident manner while screaming at the top of his lungs like the cocky bastard he is Bakugo first insulted everyone in the typical Bakugi fashion before trying to find his way thru the mob without blowing them all to the moon in fleshy pieces

"Bakugo it's rude to call someone a mob!" Iida soon came from behind Bakugo reprimanding him for his reckless and rude behavior while still doing his karate chop motion with his hands and a twinkle of justice reflecting in his glasses which is really really weird when you think about his future actions

"I indeed came to see what you are made of but I didn't think you would be so arrogant. Many students get transferred into general education or other departments because they didn't pass the heroic ones. This sports festival allows everyone to come into the eyes of professional heroes so students can be moved up based on their performance. But that also means that they can move down as well as falling from class 1-A to class 1-B and so on. So I want to scout out my opponents and pull the rug from under you when you are still on your high horse." Suddenly a tall boy with sleepy looking eyes and a villain like look and a hand caressing his neck appeared out of nowhere saying his opinion about 1-A and the sports festival declaring war on 1-A by the way before disappearing into the seemingly endless move while soon because of his actions the mob started shouting and yelling at class 1-A with even more intensity

"Good going Bakugo! Now we made even more enemies for ourselves!" Seeing the whole situation play out as well as Bakugo trying to go away Ejirou started to complain about Bakugo's reckless behavior

"It doesn't matter as long as you are on top." Bakugo only slightly turned around before spouting a cool one-liner completely unlike him with the lines simplicity and sheer badassness

"I generally disagree with you Bakugo, as I really hate you and your attitude to the bones but this time I have to agree with you. Now if you will excuse me." Out of nowhere, Mike appears besides Bakugo saying his honest opinion about him, during his stay in the MHA world Mike would rarely hide his emotions saying that liked someone or hated someone the moment he saw them and from the first day Mike met Bakugo he hated his guts

Turning towards the crowd Mike already knew that there is no peaceful way if going home thru this crowd but today Mike didn't feel peaceful either

Mike is honestly in a bad mood, his observation haki is improving but he can still barely hear or smell so he can't taste food nor have a normal conversation with someone besides that he would usually go home in his gas form but the gas form disrupts his haki so that is a no go so Mike has to go thru the crowd which he really doesn't want to do

In the recent days, Mike has been felling in a very bad mood not only by his disabilities but also the fact that he has to hide his strength from all the world so this might be a good situation to release some stress

Spreading sleeping gas from his body Mike makes the whole crowd fall to the floor snoring with a thud luckily no one was injured since they all have body's with unbelievable strength before going home leaving a speechless crowd or rather a speechless class 1-A besides Bakugo of course who went home with Mike

The journey home wasn't easy, to say the least as Mike had to constantly have his observation haki on max so that no car would hit him well not like it would harm Mike but Mike wouldn't want to be in a car accident complicating his life even further

Once Mike arrived home he first took out his phone from his pocket before selecting a certain phone number and calling a certain person with certain intentions

"Hello?" Once the phone ringed a couple of times a person on the other side of the phone picked up and greeted Mike with intrigue in his voice

Besides the intrige, the voice sounded sloppy like the person on the other side didn't care about whatever Mike was going to say

"Hello, Gamboni I have a favor to ask you." Getting straight to the point Mike didn't waste any time chit chatting with the person on the other side of the phone and in an istant, a surprised gasp came from the other person

Gamboni is an underworld criminal who mostly deals mostly with the selling of illegal drugs and the smuggling of people and goods to other countries

Once when Mike was in his Doctor White persona he was hired by Gamboni to save him since he had an almost lethal wound but Doctor White saved the day and Gamboni

Since then Gamboni became one of the key investors in Doctor White calling him whenever there was a problem, whenever a drug trade failed Gamboni called Mike to patch his men up, whenever a smuggling went wrong Mike would be there to help Gamboni out, whenever other crime bosses attacked Gamboni Mike would patch Gamboni's people up an whenever the law came for Gamboni Mike could be there to patch his people

So you can guess that Mike has a pretty solid connection to the guy beside that having a friendship with Mike is a thing that Gamboni would very much appreciate

"He hehe well if it isn't Dr.White! Honestly, when I gave you my number I didn't expect anything to come out of it but who knew you would actually call! Anyways besides the fact that I'm very glad that you called me I see that you still have that no-nonsense attitude well that also what I like about you. So what do ya want? As long as I don't have to die for you everything else is pretty much fine." At first, Gamboni sounded astounded to her that Mike called him but he soon regained his sanity and started yo joyfully talk with Mike, and what he said at the end is true

If Gamboni abandons his current achievements it wouldn't be so bad, he could just rebuild his drug empire but if he got on the wrong side of Dr.White then not even God could save him from the other gangsters as they will try to kill him to gain favor with Mike

"I need a building in UA city. A building that is completely furnished and ready to be used, also I need it in 2 weeks. Once the building is mine you can't snoop around or tell anyone about it, if you to Ill hunt you to the ends of the earth." Speaking in a cold and mechanical voice thru a voice changing app on his phone that Mike always keeps active on certain numbers Mike commanded Gamboni in a domineering voice making him break out in a sweat

In the underworld the hierarchy is simple, the boss is on top while the customers and civilians are on the bottom, a doctor is somewhere near the top but if it's a good doctor then he has more power and influence than a boss

Why? Well if there is a great doctor he can save people from fatal or crippeling injuries making everyone want to curry favor with a doctor so if a doctor wanted a boss to be removed he would just have to ask the other bosses

"Well that is hard to do, the land prices near UA are not cheap especially if there is already a building built on top. I could give you one but it would be 'used'". Gamboni has no trouble accepting Mike's threat, he knows if he fucks up he will be neck deep in shit so he prepared to help Mike it's just that the time constraint is too much so he has to bring out a 'used' building

Even thou Gamboni always has a slopish smile on his face and has a rather easy going attitude Gamboni has a good head on his neck he recognizes a good opportunity when it comes up

What is meant by a 'used' building is a building where people are currently living in or using, killing those people then framing a random criminal before buying the building at a cheap price or scamming the government for the building its actually quite a popular method even thou it sometimes doesn' work because of special officers who socialize in tracking down villains

"Fine ill send you the information via text." Knowing that there is nothing he can do since he called so late Mike hung up before sending a text to Gamboni with all the requirements

As to why Mike just didn't buy a building on his own well because it can be traced and because he doesn't know anything about buildings but he is certain that Gamboni knows about building and he is certain that his threat will keep Gamboni in his place

The next 2 weeks went on as normal with Mike going to school and back home and on the 12 days he received the information on his building

So before Mike knew it the day of the sports festival arrived

The police are constantly patrolling the perimeter while most of the strong heroes came for scouting purposes which are a great opportunity for criminals such as Gamboni to commit crimes more openly since the patrolling police and heroes are gathered at UA

Currently, Mike is in the dressing room wearing his sports uniform since his outfit got ruined besides that outfits are not allowed to the hero course student's in the sports exam

"I'm also declaring war on you. Just because you are the top-ranked student don't think that I won't beat you." Suddenly Todoroki appeared in front of Mike declaring war on to Mike like he declared war on to Izuku

Hearing him Mike smirked, he found it funny that Todoroki declared war on him, even thou Mike doesn't voice it out he considers himself superior to every student in UA, I mean why wouldn't he? If Mike let all his powers run loose even All Might would have a problem dealing with Mike while in their battle probably the whole Japanese island would be sunk

"That is if you can." Standing up Mike whispered chilling words into Todoroki's ear, today Mike decided to reveal himself

The reason Mike is so nice to everyone is that he wants to be nice, as a commoner in his past life Mike wants to dominate, he wants to be noticed and breaks free from the shackles and f fate that a comment faces

When Mike was falling into the water he lamented now that he would die but that he would die without showing off his full power so after he lived thru the incident Mike decided to loosen up he will show more of his emotions and most of all he will show more of his powers

Before Todoroki could argue with Mike's statement they saw the gate opening and they noticed it was time for the sports festival to start, clutching his fist Todoroki decided to show rather than tell Mike how much stronger he is

Soon Present Mic called them out and they stepped thru the gate and into the arena

I often heard people say that the MC is a beta male which weirdly offended me even thou I don't understand what a beta male is so, please explain that in the comments besides that if anyone is wondering why Mike became so aggressive and why his personality changed well honestly this wasn't my plan. I wanted Mike to change his personality a little farther in the future but the recent events with you like the 'No harem' even changed my opinion. Besides that I am seeing the perfect opportunity to start changing Mike and just so you know I'm also salty that Mike had to hold back in his fight with Nomu but soon very soon I'm planning to make Mike reveal some of his power.)
