Golden feathers and Silver Shells

I had been here for ten whole years. Mother had said that "when the time comes when I call you, you will come". She made me vow that I would come back home if she let me go away for a while. I turned around to face the setting sun as it glistened on the ocean in the distance I focused on the reds, purples, pinks and the golden sun. One last look and I said "well let's go then." I took to the air and was gone in breath all that remained was a feather.

I think Lord Aaron was taken aback with how quickly I complied as he didn't join me in he sky's for at least ten minutes "what took you so long Lord Aaron?" a questioning tone was in my voice. He remained distant flying behind me it was obvious that it was because of my status "I was saying good bye to someone" his voice was now cold and emotionless "and you left these. He flew closer and his voice softened as he handed me the objects "I thought you might want these". One of the objects was of great importance to me and one was something I have many of but deeply desired "thank you for my shell and feather you don't know how much these mean to me. The carry a delicate beauty and a great burden." "What do you mean?" he said with a curious tone. "Well you see my shell is so beautiful that it will be taken from its sea. There's the beauty and the burden." My tone was calm and considerate "and the feather look at it, it dances in the light with gold and silver. But yet it carries two burdens one it that it is away from my wings and the other is that all of my feathers carry immense power." At my last words my voice became cold with anger and rage. "Lady Lavende are you ok?" He stopped and hovered in the air, I went back and joined him. He looked at me with deep concern and longing "what's wrong? Your eyes!" He sounded scared and all I said was "we should land for tonight" he seemed puzzled as he added "why?" "Because I don't know what I will do it I don't" my voice was as cold as ice.
