Amazonian Hero

"There was once an Amazonian came to this City months ago."

This is the best news I've heard so far since we came to this village after entering a tavern and pay for an inn. I don't care though, but after all of what I heard so far which was all of them are nonesense, and after filtering it all out, this is the best info for me. Truth is it doesn't matter how powerful an Amozonian was but I was intrigue of another gossip.

"They came from 'Dark Territory'."

As far as my knowlege is concerned, an 'Amazon' is a Group of beautiful Woman craving for battle especially against men. A rule on which an Amazon was defeated by a man, she without any second thought will become that man's wife and obeyed him like a slave. Though, this is the first time I heard about Amazon in this world much less defeated by a man, and according to knowledge hammered through me even it was an old knowledge about this world as I called it 'Mistle Knowledge', there aren't an existence of an Amazon here and say only a handful of people know their existence. So they are also one of what they called 'Forgotten Tribe' again huh.

Of those handful who knew their existence, Amazons themselves didn't stays in a same place as they always looking for the strong everywhere they go. Yes, just like a Tribe of Herra, they are strong on their own, but unlike Herra who has a Guardian(me), Amazon as I heared, living in a harsh environment inside the 'Dark Territory' like it was their playground. isn't that too much? So in a sense, their normal people is the same or worst much stronger than that of a Hero(especially from Herra)? How would they be defeated by a normal man if that was the case then? And how would they reproduce if that were true?

And again, why is there an Amazon came here last month? There are many questions that need an immediate answer.

"It was so she could fight me, a Fenrir♡" Yuri said so. It wasn't my thought that she answered but Unice who asks her.

"She came to my territory but was defeated in the end, though I say, she's the best fighter I fought so far, she's far cry from my Master♡ here kukuku" She said while hugging my arm.

I look at Unice as she ask "Then, when you win, what is her reaction?" as she copied what I wanted to ask.

"Of course I change to human form after she didn't believe I was a female, bothering me for quite a while. After that she run crying and I didn't saw her after." Yuri explained, an Amazon, cried? aren't they a battle maniac warriors?

Amazon never cry, right?

So they didn't completely erase their desire afterall.

"Then? why did you run havoc near this village?" ask by Unice

"That was a different story, those stupid blue armored knights have an instrument that made me pissed! of all the things I heard, I don't want to hear those noise again!"

What? an Instrument?

"It was like a flute that couldn't be heard by a normal human, but I heard it nice and clean even I was miles away! as if that sound was beside me—"

a Decibel especialized for a dog?! I thought.

and thus she continued "—So I run havoc here and found them and so where you, Sis and Master♡ saw me. For me who was sensitive to the sound, I cannot forgive them. But of course I destroy that instrument and let them mutilate me *Cough* I mean—"

'alright alright, the rest is we already know' as I cover her mouth.

"Lets go" I said so as it was almost dawn again so this is the best time we depart. Of course I already told to the inn keeper in advance so that he wouldn't be surprise if we went missing.

P.O.V. of Zyra

it takes us 20 days, and we here at last where the border of 'Dark Territory'. Dark is what would it be describes best, as the trees were separated by dark miasma and normal fog.

Everywhere you go and any person you ask about 'Dark Territory', only one word is what they always answer.

'Death'

Once you enter, you'll never leave, so they say. Even now, none in history of Human recorded what was inside in this Territory, other than—

'a monster are ten times more stronger than the monster outside of the same race'.

—so they say.

There was even a rumor where inside the territory resides a being, stronger than that of a first Hero.

Who knows?

Not until your very eyes could see and you would believe. I know I'm not strong enough myself, afterall I've been taught by a superior being. A being that even my tens of life isn't enough to beat him.

If he were here, I'm sure he'll stop me to venture inside. But of course I wont go in, afterall, we received an order directly from 'The King' himself and was 'only' to scout.

He never said not to enter though. having a second thought here, I conclude, I don't want to involve this party just for my self interest. I am selfish but not to the point I'll let my comrade die.

Then, slowly, I heard some faint footstep, it came from the Dark Territory and waa getting nearer. Checking my party one by one, they were unconcious for what is about to happen, they were smiling and talking as if time slowed, no wait, time really slowed for me. all of them are in slow in motion.

I was at the very back of our party and I saw them all too clear, but only I, could hear the footstep.

No I saw it. In this dimension, only I could hear and saw it.

I saw its silhouette, unsheathing its sword who was still hundred meters at my comrade, Xyrus.

A Girl with its dirtied and tattered white shirt until her knee, a skin of light brown color, an eye and hair of a silver metal, her sword is like that of Yuusha's sword given by master, a Rapier. But with her small physique like 10 a years old, the rapier is more like a long sword. Of what I couldn't believe is that, her presence, the absense of any I'll Intent from her as if she means no harm, but her hand is about to swing, So I—

TTANG—!

Dashed to where Zyra who was about be slice in half and parried the Sword slash, but I was knockedbacked! Even though Im not that balance because of my sudden sprint, just to parrying her attack, why is too heavy? And from a small girl like her?

Gritting my teeth I parried her next slash again. Im sure of it. That was 'Sword Wave'

TTANG—!

This time my body flew backwards for almost 10 meters and so the time returned to normal as it is. Yes, all this time, for all I know, time was slow in motion with only those two bouts, for an unknown reason, my world slowed that time but that kid unleashed her two strikes with that span of time. If my sense of time didn't slowed down or my reaction time itself was slow, my party was wiped before I know it.

The 'Time Stop' that my master is talking about,as he once called it a 'Chrono'. I didn't believe it at first as thought he was just messing with us. 'Chrono' was only be attained by a True Hero, It was a form on which strong can walk inside it. Or so master said. But this kid, is she really a—?

After that, I was catched by Kazuto, one of my comrade. A Brawler, and an ex-adventurer. Thereafter, Xyrus placed her shield in front, protecting us if by chance that girl attacks again, but to our surprised is after of what she did.

She raised her weapon and swung it downward, as it created a perfect straight line with the length of ten meters horizontally to the ground, she then sheathed her sword and shouted. "Anyone who pass this line will be decapitated by me" as she stepped back to where the 'Dark Territory' was, until we didn't saw her silhouette anymore.

Trembling. I couldn't help but trembled. So this is... Fear.

I don't know.

All I know is that, her presence is like that of our master but different. Master's presence is like a warmth sunlight embrassing us while sleeping beside the tree, Though master is a Tree himself. But that girl, that kid is like a calm and deep water.

"Naneth, Convey this to our King—" thus I convey my message via one of my Party, 'Sage of the Sound' Naneth.
