So Hot, I'm On Fire

"Crazy things happen" I say to myself, "Perhaps I should step in and help." I can't quite believe that there is a huge fire in my city. My city. My. City. I race into the building. Someone is screaming in Room Three. I kick open the door and a boy just a little older than myself scrambles through it and races out the building. A voice pings in my ear.

"Edith come in over"

"I'm here"

"Get out of the building Edith. Youngsters aren't supposed to do this."

"I'm not leaving anyone"

"Edith come out-"

The building collapses. Everyone was out except me.
