Marineford War Part 5

"He is actually fighting three admirals??" A marine couldn't help but scream out in surprise.

"This isn't just the power of a rookie!" Another marine continued in a serious frightened tone.

"Everyone listen to me! Retreat with Ace and Strawhat Luffy!!" Whitebeard screamed out towards the sky as he kept his vigilant towards Sengoku.

"Ace is saved!" Whitebeard pirates screamed out happily as he tried to retreat.

"We got Ace, let's retreat!" Another Whitebeard pirates added as he also tried to retreat.

The battlefield looked very chaotic as pirates and marines could be seen fighting everywhere.

"Zehahaha!" A dark an sinister voice suddenly rang out in the entire battlefield.

As Ace and Luffy were retreating with the Whitebeard commanders a laugh stopped them in their tracks.

Ace turned around and looked at Blackbeard with burning hateful eyes. If it wasn't for this person killing a member of their pirate crew and then arresting Ace himself, this war would never have happened!

"Running away? Zehaha!" Blackbeard laughed hysterically as he taunted Ace.

"Ace, run!" A Whitebeard pirate tried to reach for Ace's wrist.

"Blackbeard!" Ace said slowly as he turned into a fire formed figure and rushed towards Blackbeard.

"No, Ace doesn't!" A Whitebeard pirate commander screamed out in panic.

"Teach.." Whitebeard said slowly as he saw Blackbeard enter the battlefield.

As Ace was rushing towards Blackbeard a magma figure appeared behind Luffy.

"Die, Dragon's son!" A magma fist went towards Luffy's chest.

"Noo!" Ace screamed as he turned around and tried to appear behind of Luffy but unfortunately it was too late. The magma fist was just about to connect when a lightning fast silhouette appeared before Akainu.

"Well, I can't let you do that." Mark smiled as both Akainu and Mark were sent back a couple of meters.

"Z guy!" Luffy said excitedly but tired as he looked at Mark.

"My name is Mark," Mark said as he shook his head at Luffy disappointed. It was a known fact that Luffy was quite bad at remembering names, he also had great plot armor but to actually think that Mark also became Luffy's plot armor too.

Ace didn't continue his run towards Blackbeard as he focused on Akainu.

"Fire fist!" Ace turned his fist into flames and launched it as a column of fire towards Akainu.

"Fire? Magma is way stronger! Pirate." Akainu said calmly as he returned a fist of magma of his own.

The two attacks collied and Ace was sent flying back. Akainu didn't stop there as he turned into the magma element and flew straight for Ace.

"Really now? Why do I feel like I'm babysitting these guys?" Mark thought silently as he turned into a flash of lightning and rushed towards Akainu.

Akainu didn't expect Mark to actually be going against him. Did I perhaps kill his parents? Were they pirates too?

Why did this guy have to rush me again and again? Akainu thought with extreme hatefulness.

"Ohhh, you seem to be running all over the battlefield." A lazy voice came behind Mark's back as a leg kick sent him into the opposite direction.

"Goddammit, I can't be everywhere!!" Mark thought as he was sent flying away from an unforeseen attack.

When Akainu saw Kizaru's attack actually sent Mark flying away, he grinned. Akainu looked at Mark for a second before rushing towards Ace.

The two exchanged some moves while Kizaru kept Mark at bay.

Suddenly something unexpected happened as Akainu could be seen stabbing Ace with a magma fist straight through his chest.

As it went into Ace's chest, a big hole formed throughout his chest and back.

"Ace!!" A Whitebeard pirate commander screamed out as he saw Ace heavily injured.

"Nooo!" Luffy screamed as he ran towards Ace.

"No, Ace! Don't die!" Luffy began to panic as he embraced Ace's body.

Mark looked towards Ace and Luffy's position. I couldn't save him in the end? Was his fate really written in stone?

Luffy's eyes began to close as he held Ace's body in his hands.

"Now die, Dragons son!" Akainu was surprised for a second when he noticed Luffy actually bringing himself so close to him, but this didn't stop his plans as he continued punching towards Luffy in an attempt to kill him too.

But Akainu was suddenly interrupted by Jimbei one of the former seven warlords of the sea as he tried to kill Luffy.

Did I really change the canon this much? Mark thought as he observed the scenes displaying on the battlefield. It turned out that Blackbeard arrived way earlier than expected as he had involuntarily caused Ace's death. Did he get himself another devil fruit? Thoughts kept popping into Mark's head.

Garp walked towards Akainu's direction slowly as he was about to go for the kill. A figure appeared in front of him, this was Sengoku of course.

"You have to remember your position, Garp!" Sengoku said slowly as he grabbed Garp by the back of his head and forced him down to the ground.

"You better hold me down! Sengoku! Or else I'm going to kill Akainu!" Garp said as his head was held to the ground.

Whitebeard ran towards Akainu as he punched him using his tremor fruit abilities. Akainu was sent flying as he tried to steady himself.

Whitebeard and Akainu fought back and forth but it was obvious that Akainu was on the losing end of the stick.

"Mark Z. Matheus!!" A sinister voice rang out as a figure pointed a gun towards Mark and fired.

Mark didn't acknowledge Blackbeard as he ignored him. Who are you kidding? He didn't even have the darkness-darkness fruit, he wasn't Mark's opponent.

Mark covered his hand in Busoshoku Haki as he kept fighting Kizaru. Kizaru was actually being pushed back and back again, it was obvious that he wasn't Mark's opponent.

Bullets would fly towards him from time to time, but Mark didn't seem fazed. Bullets really? Something must be wrong with his head. Oh, I remember this was how he actually killed Whitebeard in the canon, Mark thought.

Aokiji turned his attention towards the Z pirates as he pointed his finger at Satyr jr.

"Ice Block: Pheasant Beak!" Aokiji released a massive wave of ice in the shape of a pheasant in a single blast as it went towards Satyr jr.

Satyr jr was surprised for a second as he didn't expect Aokiji to attack them at this moment. But he reacted quickly as he attacked Aokiji with a move of his own.

"Earth Pillars!"Satyr jr created a number of pillars out of hardened earth and launched it towards Aokiji. He could actually guide these pillars and move them around with great dexterity

It didn't seem like Satyr was at any disadvantage as they exchanged some moves. But his earth element would freeze again and again.

"The Z pirates first mate actually have the power to fight with Admiral Aokiji on equal grounds?" A marine said with a dumbfounded look on his face.

"Time to end this!" Capone Bege said as he took out two pistols from his holsters.

"Kill these damn marines!" Men upon men came rushing out of Capone Bege's stomach.

"What the hell? Men are rushing out of his stomach?" A marine had a stupefied expression on his face.
