...possibilities

Tale smiled and nodded against his shoulder before resting her head and holding him just a little tighter.

The couple took a walk around the park, Su Yan needed to settle his thoughts and Tale needed to clear her head.

She narrated all that had taken place at her parents house while they walked, she was sad about it but there was hope. Hope that someday her parents will see what was truly important and maybe then they will understand her a little bit more.

"So are you desperate to leave my home?" Su Yan asked when they got to the edge of the lake.

"No, don't be silly. I'm not desperate to leave," Tucking her hand between his. "If it was ever lost in translation, I love living with you, and Woo Jin. It's been a journey and a beautiful crazy one. But I love to have my own space regardless, and it has nothing to do with how I feel about you,"

"How do you feel about me?" he asked looking down at her, his eyes bright.

Amusement softened her face. "I uh, well you mean a whole lot to me, you are special, truly you are and I would never take you for granted. I promise."

Squaring up his shoulders Su Yan smiled and accepted her words. Was it possible for a relationship to be moving slowly and fast at the same time? Some days he felt that way and on a few others he told himself it was just right the way things moved. Their relationship has been filled up with lots of drama from the beginning and all the circumstances only brought them closer.

"I'm fine with you leaving whenever you feel ready, I'm always welcomed over anyway," he made light of the situation.

"Yeah we are not doing that anymore, you will have to book an appointment to come see me," Tale joked.

"Well we will see about that," he replied in same tone.

They walked the grounds of the park a little while longer before heading home.

"Welcome back to paradise!" Precious greeted the minute she walked into the house.

"You know what, I missed you too," Tale proceeded to hug her. This place was a far better space to be in than the home she grew up in right about now, and she was going to bask in it all.

"That bad huh?" Precious replied.

"Yes, but I guess we took a step in the right direction. Hoping for smooth sailing ahead." Tale added.

"Amen!"

"Hey! Finally," Woo Jin joined the mix. "Look who's back,"

"I missed you so much too Woo Jin."

"I'm going to rest a bit," Su Yan announced coming out of the kitchen where he went to get a glass of water.

"I'm sorry you didn't get any sleep last night," Tale replied.

"Told him to relax, guess who didn't listen," Precious added.

Tale shook her head smiling.

"Join me," Su Yan demanded.

"Sure, but you go first okay," she tiptoed to plant a kiss on his cheeks before urging him to leave.

When Tale narrated the event that happened in her parents house the second time around that morning, she felt lighter. She was slowly becoming her own person, and doing things for herself and she wasn't going to loose the progress she's made so far.

"I felt a little guilt yesterday," Tale admitted to both of her friends.

"I can't advise you," Woo Jin confessed. "I'd be living in our family home and will one day take over the family's business. And truth is I am happy doing it."

"Why do you think you can't advise her?" Precious asked. "Happiness is key here, and you said you are happy doing all you mentioned. That is all that matters and that is all we have been saying, right girl?"

"Right."

"Then by all means, listen to your master. Do what makes you happy," Woo Jin said with a hint of sarcasm making the two women laugh.

"Yes master," Tale replied in same tone taking a small bow. The three of them shared a laugh while trying to keep their voices low.

"Thank you guys, always," Tale forced Woo Jin to give her a hug which he complied to.

"You've gotten more hugs from me than all my ex girlfriend's combined," he complained.

"Haven't they told you yet, I'm not like the rest of them darling?" Tale replied giving him a light punch on his arm before heading up to Su Yan.

He was fast asleep right in the middle of the bed, she wasn't going to forgive herself if she woke him up. Tale quietly moved around the room, changing out of her clothes, packing her hair in a bun before finally taking a much needed bath.

When she slowly climbed into bed wearing his clothes again, Su Yan scooped her to his side.

"What took you so long?" He whispered.

"I wanted you to get a good head start, you looked like you needed it," she whispered back.

"I needed you," he said calmly.

Her heart skipped a beat at the way his words made her feel. "I'm here now," she drew closer to him to stare at his face before planting a noisy kiss on his lips.

With his eyes still closed, he smiled as he slowly drifted back to sleep.

Tale laid down silently beside him daydreaming of all the great thing that she and Su Yan could be, she wasn't sure what will become of them both. But she felt that familiar trill, the one that told her there was so much yet to be enjoyed and discovered. She smiled waiting on sleep to take her, dreaming of happy endings and a life of possibilities.
