Rag Dolled

The creepy laughter covered the whole surrounding, causing any pokemon and people in the vicinity to shiver in fear.

The leader wondered if it was all an illusion and looked around his surrounding trying to find the location of where the laughter was coming from.

Suddenly, he sees the same two crimson eyes up behind the thick leaves of a tree and, without hesitation, calls for an attack.

His Volcarona attacked on command but finds nothing on the other end. The same goes for the other members of Cipher as well.

They are seeing multiple crimson eyes all around them and they are ordering their pokemons to constantly attack those eyes, but as soon as their pokemon's move makes contact, the target just disappears.

"It's playing with us"

One of the female members finally spoke as she realized all their efforts to attack these entities were nothing but them wasting their pokemon's energy. The more their pokemons attack, the sooner they will exhaust themselves.

"Number 4 is right, stop attacking and conserve your pokemon's energy"

The leader ordered, and they stopped attacking and brought their focus back on the little shadow pokemon who seems to have gained back some of its strength.

"Leader, how about we continue to target the little one? It should force the one hiding to come out, then we can capture both of them."

The other female suggested.

"Good idea, Number 3. Let's use the little one to bring the big one from hiding"

The leader said and ordered his Volcarona to attack the little shadow pokemon again. The rest of the cipher members also ordered an attack from their respective pokemon, but it is useless.

Another black wormhole appeared and swallowed the four attacks.

"Use physical attacks"

The leader ordered and called his Volcarona to use Flare Blitz. Following his action, the others also called for a physical move from their pokemon.

The four pokemons charged at the little shadow pokemon but before they could even land a single attack, four black shadow tentacles came out of the ground and, like a whip, slashed at the four bug pokemons, stopping them right in their tracks.

Then the tentacles latched onto their legs and lifted them up in the air and started to slam them around like a rag dolls.

On the ground, against the tree trunks, through the thick thorny bushes, and dragging them on the rough ground, once they were done, the tentacles tossed the four bug pokemons on the ground like trash.

All four of them are out cold.

The four cipher members felt their bodies go cold. It was as if someone poured ice-cold water on their exposed naked body on a cold winter night.

"RETREAT!"

The leader shouted and quickly called back his Volcarona and so did the other members. and as they turned around and were ready to bolt, they all fell face first on the ground, smacking their helmets hard on the ground.

They groaned in pain as the fall rattled their brains, then they looked at the reason for their fall, four shadow tentacles wrapped around their ankles like a constricting snake.

Their faces become pale white as they see these tentacles latched on their ankles. The memory of their pokemons being rag dolled around the whole vicinity flashed in their mind, turning the fear in their heart to dread.

"Gegegegegegege"

They hear the creepy laugh again and this time they finally see the monster of this nightmare they are ground through. From a patch of a pitch-black shadow emerges a pokemon they are very familiar with.

A Gengar, they all have seen a Gengar in their life and they have also used the organization's Gengar for special missions, but this is the first time they are seeing a monster of a Gengar.

This Gengar is like no other. His eyes are the bloodiest of them all, and his big wide grin is like the laugh of death. The spines on its back are bigger, longer, and look sharper.

Truly a monster for their nightmares. When they were little, their mothers would tell them the tale of the evil Gengar who would come and snatch kids away from their parents. And now they couldn't help but be reminded of those horror childhood stories looking at the Gengar standing in front of them.

They don't know what to do or how to escape. Now they can only wish that this Gengar doesn't kill them.

The second male, number 2 was even ready to get on his knees and beg for his life, but before he could even do so, the tentacles started to drag them into the shadow realm.

They screamed and called for help, but it was of no use. Nobody would hear them inside this dense dark jungle, and even if someone did, they would not be stupid enough to come here all alone.

All four of them watched in horror as their body slowly disappeared into the shadow before their heads were also fully submerged in the shadow realm.

Their bodies disappeared. It was as if they never existed.

Once Gengar was done with them, he turned and looked at the little shadow pokemon, his number one fan, the little legendary pokemon Marshadow.
