CLANNNG!

"I asked you a question," I said, but there was no reply. Instead, she attacked me again with even greater killing intent.

Seeing that, I couldn't help but sigh.

I don't like doing this, but my survival is dependent on it. It would have been much easier if she had answered my questions truthfully.

I watched her spear coming closer and closer to me, but I didn't raise my saber.

It came closer to me, before suddenly slowing down so much, that I needed to take a step to my left to avoid it.

"Last chance. Tell me why you are looking for me and it will be much less painful," I asked.

"Fuck off!" she cursed and pushed all her power and killing intent toward my strings.

It's useless.

My strings were on her, a few minutes before we had started to fight. I could have ended the fight quite quickly, but I wanted to fight her.
