Christmas Eve

The next day was Christmas Eve. Preparations were in full swing at the mansion. The butler was busy decorating the Christmas tree. Some of them were preparing delicacies. The others were cleaning and decorating the entire house. Jayne was too delighted to see all of it and she too got into the festive mood.

But Ronnie on the other hand had different plans. He kept in touch with Daniel West for regular updates.

That afternoon, Ronnie booked an appointment with Ms. Shirley Symonds, the famous makeup artist of London for Jayne. When she arrived Ronnie took her to Jayne's room where she was resting for a while.

"Jayne this is Ms. Shirley Symonds. She's the top designer, makeup artist and hair stylist here in London. She'll be styling you for tonight and tomorrow." Ronnie introduced Ms. Symonds to Jayne.

"Hello Ms Shirley Symonds. I'm Jayne." Jayne shook hands with Shirley.

"Hello Ms. Beautiful. You are so pretty that my makeup brush will not have much work. I'll have to just enhance your perfect features. Indeed I'm lucky to be working on you. Tomorrow if you do want a career in movies or modelling, let me know since I feel you are born to be a star." Shirley gushed.

Jayne was surprised and felt awkward for a bit. She faked a smile and turned towards Ronnie, "Ronnie can I talk to you for a moment?" She pulled Ronnie outside her room.

"What's happening here Ronnie?" she was flabbergasted.

Ronnie chuckled and pulled her into his embrace. "It's nothing. Just get ready. We'll be attending important events today and tomorrow. I don't mind taking you taking you there naturally just the way you are since I know how beautiful my woman is. But it'll be you who'll feel awkward after going there."

Jayne fought back the blush creeping up her face. She nodded and scurried inside and locked the door.

After she went in, Shirley Raymonds got into a professional mode. " Ms. Beautiful, let's check if your dress for the evening fits perfectly on you." She had already nicknamed Jayne as Ms. Beautiful.

Jayne went inside the dressing room and changed into the evening gown. It was from Shirley Symonds' latest "Maya" collection. She'd styled these gowns with an element of mystery and abstract theme.

Jayne wore the red coloured, off-shouldered, backless gown. It was of knee length revealing her long, slender legs. It was perfectly stitched, clinging to her body accentuating her curves. The lower part of the gown had lots of layers with blue underlyings making it dreamy.

Shirley Symonds' jaw fell upon seeing the beauty before her. "I'm confused what to compliment first. You or my best ever designed dress on you. I feel this dress was the most luckiest to have it worn by the most gorgeous woman on earth."

Jayne blushed and giggled. "Stop it Shirley."

"Let's not waste anymore time. Let me start styling you my beautiful lady. Sit down." Shirley Symonds motioned Jayne to sit down for makeup.

Then she first checked her hair and said, "If we leave your hair open, then your milky white back won't be visible. I'd suggest we'll volume up your hair and style it into a messy bun."

Later she applied light makeup highlighting her high cheekbones giving it a natural blush. Next she worked on her eyes giving it a mysterious smoky eye look. Finally she applied a red lipstick to complement with the red dress. She wore diamond earrings along with a single diamond necklace and a diamond bracelet. Lastly, she completed her styling with red stilettos.

The entire dressing exuded an aura of mystery and magic from Jayne just like the name of her dress 'Maya'.

"We're all set to walk down the red carpet. You can look at the mirror now." Shirley said to Jayne.

Jayne walked up to the full length mirror in the dressing room. She was beyond shocked to look at herself in the mirror. ' Who am I? Why is it that each time I look into the mirror I see an altogether different me?' She silently gazed at herself and couldn't bear to stand there anymore. She walked out with Shirley downstairs.

Ronnie was already dressed in a black designer suit again styled by Shirley. They were couple outfits. Ronnie's tie was the same red colour as Jayne. As soon as he saw Jayne walking down the stairs, his gaze filled with love. 'If only she'll say yes tonight. I'll treasure her for life.' Ronnie thought.
