Ian grips become tight on Abel's shoulder. "Stop."

"Cousin?" Abel looks at him with confusion. Why is his cousin brother on a vampire's side? His cousin brother hates them without any limit. 

"Let's hear her out." Ian smiles at him.

The other hunters are also confused by Ian's change of heart. 

"What I want to say is..." Huang Qiuyan glances at Fu Mian and gives her an assuring look. "Hunters can't use Fu Mian as a solution for the apocalypse. The purebloods can't shake their hands off from this crisis either. First of all, find the damn reason why this is happening. Until those things went crazy, I didn't even know that there were vampires or hunters. Something must have gone wrong. Both of you must work together and find the reason why they are acting this way."

"So, we must investigate the reason behind the apocalypse first?" Ian's eyes twinkle mischievously.

"Nothing happens without a reason." Huang Qiuyan is standing right between Fu Sheng and Ian Jonathon now. She's been inching toward Fu Mian little by little. "Ian and Fu Sheng must work together. Fu Sheng is a vampire wizard. Ian is a human wizard. So, do your magic thing and save the world. Both of you will be at a loss if we lose the planet earth." 

Fu Sheng, who's been quiet for this whole time, has noticed her closing in toward Fu Mian. Though he doesn't smile or show any other awareness on his face, he starts seeing her in a different light. She hasn't said one wrong word, but she's focussed on saving Fu Mian first. 

"The problem is too big for both of you to handle alone." She places her hand on Fu Mian's shoulder. Doctor Oh is also entranced by her speech. He doesn't notice that she's less than a meter away from him. Fu Mian has been distracted. When she feels her mother's hands, she looks up and sees her mother standing beside her. She relaxes a little.

Huang Qiuyan continues, "Two forces must cooperate to save the world."

"Fu Sheng, since she's your mate, her words also means yours?" Ian stares at Fu Sheng and asks. 

Huang Qiuyan frowns deeply. Her words are Fu Sheng's? How come? Her words are hers. Can't this man see that she's the one speaking?

"Yes." Fu Sheng already wanted to take responsibility for the current situation since it's started by the converts. 

"I like that the purebloods are interested in taking responsibility." Abel interrupts. "But we don't know how to kill the new vampires without Fu Mian's blood."

"There's an alternative method." Huang Qiuyan says loudly, "It's difficult, but it's not impossible to kill the new vampires. You can kill them with the enchanted woods or any weapons as long as you know how to kill them. I will tell you if you leave Fu Mian alone."

It's true that the new vampires can be killed by any weapon as long as it destroys their life source crystal.

[Dear Host, have you gone crazy? But sharing that information with the hunters... they will target you.]

[After they catch me.]

[Dear Host, why are you overconfident?]

[I am distracting them, idiot.]

Pushing Doctor Oh's away, she stands behind Fu Mian with each hand on her each shoulder. 

"You know the method to kill them?" Ian blinks at her, surprised. "They can be killed by any weapon?"

That means that humans who aren't born with witch's magic can also take care of the new vampires.

"I also know it." Fu Sheng takes his attention away from Huang Qiuyan. All the hunters' eyes turn to Fu Sheng, waiting for him to speak. Doctor Oh is also captivated. 

Huang Qiuyan takes Fu Mian into her arms quietly and steps backward. She counts in her mind.

One. Two.Three. Run.

She dashes away with Fu Mian before the hunters can notice.
