Liu Zilong slowly walked towards his room. He's just gonna think that today was just a bad day. Actually to be specific, tonight was a bad night.
He was hit on his wounds that were in the process of healing but he couldn't defend himself. To put it correctly, he didn't want to defend himself for various reasons. He sighed.
His brother somewhat became hostile because of a simple greeting.
Yes, a simple goodnight... He stopped on his track as he was about to close the door of his room.
'That's right!'
He now remembered his 'analysis' and 'advice' not too long ago to his younger brother.
'Damn! I should explain further what I have said.' He muttered to himself as he massaged the temples of his head using his right hand.
How did he forget the words he said before. He's clearly not in good condition.
While he slowly strode towards his bed he was thinking what were the other 'words of wisdom' he shared to his brother.
It would be better to be extra careful next time. The last thing he wanted to experience was that cold glare he gave earlier. It's not because he's scared, it's because he simply didn't want to have a misunderstanding with Liu Zijian.
The two of them rarely fight as they have different interests but when they do, they would end up in an 'arena' made by their father. They would hit each other until they would feel worn out. After releasing their anger they would eventually collapse and make up. Their father would then give them both a bottle of water each. After the two accepted the water they would jokingly toast.

"Zijian,.." Han Meixiu once again uttered his name. She wanted to know what made him upset. Based from her observation, her husband was the kind of person who didn't get emotional too easily. If he's upset, then it meant something was wrong. She wanted to know what was it so she could avoid doing it again.
He carefully let her down when they arrived inside their room. He gently moved his hand to clear the few strands covering her face and slowly lowered his head to warmly kiss her.
It was a sweet-tempered kind of kiss that made them savored each other's sweetness in an unhurried manner.
"You're not allowed to kiss anyone except me." He simply said declaring what has been on his mind. This honey taste like that felt extremely good for him was something he didn't want to share to anyone not even to his brother. His wife should be exclusively for him.
"Of course. I know that." Han Meixiu answered immediately. She couldn't imagine kissing other person aside from Liu Zijian. But when did this topic come from? Was this the reason why he was upset? She couldn't recall any conversation they had involving kissing someone else.
"I never wanted to kiss anyone else apart from you." She continued as she voiced out her thoughts. "But, why did you think.."
"Then don't say 'goodnight' to anyone." He simply commanded her and kissed her again.
When the kiss ended, Han Meixiu was able to clear her mind a bit. His kisses could always make her muddleheaded.
'It doesn't make sense. Where's the connection between goodnight and kiss?' She pondered for a while before she asked him again.
He was leading her towards the bed when she popped up the question.
"Zijian, are you upset because I said goodnight to Brother Long?"
"Hmmm." He answered as he lied down pulling Han Meixiu with him.
"Did you think I wanted him to kiss me when I said it to him?" She wanted to probe her ridiculous theory as she carefully asked her questions.
"Hmmm." He answered while his eyes were closed but his hands were securely embracing his wife who was lying on top of him.
"That doesn't make sense. Goodnight was just a simple greeting. I always said it to Xiao Xiao but I never wanted her to kiss me."
"She's your friend and a girl, too."
"But I once said it to Cousin Yu before." She remembered there was a time her cousin slept overnight in their grandparents house. Her grandma urged her to bid goodnight to him and she fully complied.
Liu Zijian abruptly opened his eyes and looked at her confused wife. "Zhang Yu?"
She nodded. "My grandmother ordered me to do it. But I don't think she wanted my cousin to kiss me." She immediately explained. She suddenly felt the sudden tightness of his arms around her.
"Don't do it again."
"That's not the point. What I mean is...'goodnight' is just a simple greeting. It doesn't have any other hidden meaning."
Liu Zijian's expression turned increasingly serious as he pondered on his wife's words.
"When you said goodnight to me the first time, you didn't want to be kissed?"
Han Meixiu started to blush and averted her eyes. She indeed wanted. "That..ah..well.."
"What?" He was waiting for her to answer and a slight smile slowly appeared on his face when he saw her stammered.
"Well, you're different and...and..."
"And?"
Why did she say 'and' she clearly didn't know how to complete her sentence without further embarrassing herself. To escape from his teasing eyes, she decided to bury her self on his chest.
But Liu Zijian didn't want to let her escape just like that. He moved sideways making Han Meixiu who was not prepared with the sudden movement fell on the bed from Liu Zijian's body.
"Why don't you continue you're sentence?" He said and tried to look at her face that was now covered with her hands.
"And..I..you see..."
He gently removed her hands. "Why are you covering your face? Is it that hard to tell me?"
Han Meixiu filled her lungs with air as if the action helped her gathered her courage and minimize her embarrassment.
"You're different and I wanted to..kiss..you, too." The last three words were uttered softly just like a gentle wind that slowly gave not a cooling effect but it's opposite.
"Good." He answered while adoringly looking at her sheepish expression. His eyes started to glitter as he moved his head to gave her a 'reward'. The mere fact that she wanted it, gave him an indescribable feeling of happiness. They felt the same.
