June 12th, 1998. It was an early Friday morning (look it up), the sky still dark and the streets are silent. The lights are off and the residents are sleeping, except for one building.
In this building there was an especially active room. This room measured around 56 square metres and was painted white all over, without a single blemish. It had lights built into the ceilings, completely lighting the entire room. Weird and advanced machinery decorated the room, with a single bed with multiple straps laid in the centre. A woman, unconscious and strapped to the bed was loomed over by a man and his goons, each of them wearing a mask and matching clothing. The man muttered something to one of the goons, although muffled the goon still understood from experience what the man was saying and handed him a sharp, knife looking object.
The man plunges the blade into the woman's abdomen without hesitation and drags it from one side to the other, leaving a giant wound with blood spilling out everywhere. The goons use a liquid solution to clean the blood off the woman's body in order to let the man have a clear look at the grievous wound he made. The man puts down the knife and shoves both hands into the wound before pulling out what was inside. He holds it up and seems to grin a little, he says "It's a boy!"
That's right, this man and his goons were just an able doctor and his assistants giving this pregnant woman a C-section in the earliest of mornings. A nurse wraps the baby in a towel while another leaves the operating room to notify the husband of the pregnant woman. shortly after, a middle-aged man quickly bursts into the room and spots the baby. The nurse gives the baby to the man, who takes him carefully, and congratulates him "Congratulations on this healthy baby boy sir, what would you like to name him?"
Hearing this the man shivers and almost drops the baby, "Name him? Don't say such silly things, how could I dare name him without my wife's opinion (command). As a respectful husband I shall wait for my wife to wake up before a name is chosen for my son."
The people around the room look at the man with alternating gazes. The women with admiration, the young men with disdain, and the married fathers with pity and understanding. The man then sits next to the bed with his son in his arms and says "See that pretty lady, she is your mother. You must remember, you can do or become anything in this world, but never, I mean never piss her off. I understand that saying this to you now probably has no meaning, but you will come to understand, after all, you are now stuck with her, just like me."
After a few more minutes of talking to the baby a nurse comes and takes the baby to its crib for the night, which serves to give the baby the most comfortable living conditions and monitor the baby for potential defects. The husband stays beside the wife and slowly dozes off to sleep.
Hours later, in the afternoon, the husband is abruptly awoken by a smack across the head "Chen Tian! Why are you still asleep, did you also just give birth?!". Chen Tian's jolts and stands up straight, almost subconsciously giving an army salute. Due to the smack he had slightly dampened eyes, but he put on a heroic expression and says "Dear, I was just taking a little nap, I was courageously guarding you and my child all night and only succumbed to the evil grasps of sleep half an hour ago." The wife glares at Chen Tian, "Do you think I, Chen Xue'er, will fall for your lies anymore! I have been awake for the last hour and you have been fast asleep this whole time. You may have tricked me into marrying you, but you won't fool me again!"
Chen Tian laughs nervously and quickly changes the subject "Dear, what do you think we should name our child? I think it should be something masculine and shows of-"
"His name is Wulin, Chen Wulin."
Chen Tian looks shocked "Eh... Honey, don't I at least have an opinion on his name?"
Xue'er looks at him disdainfully "Of course you can take a part in his name, I graciously let him have your family name, while I will choose his first name."
Chen Tian looks at his wife in anguish but doesn't oppose her decision.
Hello. This is my first book, since I am almost finished with exams I thought I will give in to my inner demons and embarrass myself on this website (slightly M).
Any spelling mistakes you think I made I probably didn't make and it's just the way it's spelt in Australia. Any grammatical errors you think I made you are probably right. I got a C in English I'm pretty sure.
Sorry for my bad humour.
