Unlocking Potentials

Their lodging was located on the outer parts of the city and the backyard was facing towards the dark mountain range, therefore it was a secure location.

Looking up at the stern face Tria, the group who had just eaten their bellies full had forced their lethargic state awake as she started to speak.

"Your body is the temple of knowledge, if you are able to access that knowledge from within you, it will immediately unleash your potential. The ones who are strong and have looked down upon you, are the people who have been able to only access some of their knowledge, but I will help you access all of it."

Hearing this the group's drowsiness immediately cleared up, who didn't seek for greater power? Who didn't want to stand at the peak?

"Good, it seems you guys have some determination, however unleashing your potential is one thing, how far you reach is another and that depends on how hard you cultivate. As some of you may already know, the levels of power are categorized from Master level, Grandmaster level, Saint level, Sovereign level, and the legendary Celestial level," continued Tria as she counted up using her fingers, "Every time you level up, your spirit capacity evolves into a bigger size, while you gain new abilities depending on your energy type. Generally, all Masters should be able to sense the energy around them and synchronize with it to use for either defense or offense in a fight. Or, just casual things such as how the earth people use their energy to synchronize with nature; although that ability is innate."

"Whoa, so cool," cheered the group as they imagined themselves soaring through the skies but was quickly brought back to reality by Tria's next words.

"I've already opened the doors to that knowledge within your spirit, the goal is for all of you to reach the peak of Master level by the time the temple is done being built. "

"Senior sister?" nervously called out Ka'an.

"Hm."

"Isn't the temple scheduled to be completed in a week?"

"Yes."

"….."

"What's the matter?"

"I've heard before that leveling up usually take months and sometimes years, how wi-

"Ka'an?" called out Tria spookily.

"Yes, senior sister…."

"I really hope you are at the peak of Master level in a week, if not? I think… it's best that I let you find out for yourself."

"Ka'an! Stop causing trouble, senior sister already unlocked all of our potentials, if you don't reach it the peak of Master Level it's because you're a dummy," intervened Khen.

"I'm not a dummy, you're a dummy! As if you're going to succeed!"

"Of course, I will!

Tria rolled her eyes, "Here we go," she said under her breath, then loudly exclaimed, "Alright! I need to rest, Mexi will show you how to absorb the energy into your spirit, now remember, do not force your spirit fields to break, let it burst naturally."

Leaving behind the bickering and Mexi to deal with the rest, she walked towards her room. She's had a long day and wanted to go sleep early but before she could even get into her bedroom, she sensed Chukah's arrival.

"Priestess."

"Hm, Chukah, you're back? Did the twins settle in alright?", asked Tria while yawning.

"Yes."

"What's wrong?" Tria asked him, he was so brief and seemed nervous.

"As your big brother, I-

"What's this 'as my big brother' thing, just speak! We are now siblings, there's no need to feel that way, hm, what is it? Wait did Crei do something to you?" she started panicking activating her golden eyes to check if he was injured.

"No, um… I'm not, it's just that, umm…that is...," stammered Chukah uneasily.

"Just spit it out, I'm so tired, I want to go sleep alr-

"Wifey, you didn't even ask him about me? That really makes me sad," sounded out a magnetic voice from behind a tree not too far from where Tria and Chukah were standing.

Ba-dump!!!

"Crei???" called out Tria while shooting a look over to the solemn Chukah, she almost had a heart attack because she didn't sense anyone else before.

Poor Chukah, he couldn't lift up his head, he had been tricked, okay? He thought he had fooled Crei by saying Tria wanted him to practice with the twins, but who would have known that not long after that momentary victory he was beaten black and blue by him for lying. Chukah had believed that since he had awoken his new abilities that he grew strong enough that no one in all the lands could challenge him, but he was dragged around easily by Crei like a ragged doll; he could not believe how powerful Crei actually was.

'Such a bully,' he thought but he didn't dislike the man, that was his sister's husband, and they seemed to have a good relationship.

"Yes, wifey," answered Crei as he got closer to Tria and reached out his hand to her waist.

He leaned in on her face and just as he was about to sneak in a kiss, he was stopped by a pair of cold fingers on his lips.

"Husband, it seems while I've been away, you've grown a new layer of skin," said Tria while looking at him seducingly, her petite body shadowed by Crei's body, but then touching his toned arm she continued, "not to worry, I shall help you peel it off."

Crei did not let her go and instead looked like he was seriously thinking about her offer, then he gave her an answer that almost made her lose her balance.

"Shall we start now wifey? And please make sure you go over everything. I was wondering why I've been feeling the urge to see you so much."

"Shameless!" Tria cried as she pushed him away, he had also grown smarter, she thought, laughing inwardly.

"I'm actually glad you came, I feel like I left when we were just getting started in our relationship," sincerely said Tria, she was not the type to hide her feelings, communication is something she has always believed is important in a relationship, and those words are things she has been thinking about.

"Wifey..." Crei's eyes softened as he looked at her.

Crei was overjoyed by her confession, he had also thought it to be too soon to be separated, however, she had a legacy to fulfill, he did not want to hold her back. Now that she's taking the initiative to talk about, it couldn't please him more.
