The Ox King

In the desert, Goku and Kalan walked ahead. They were passing through the Diablo Desert.

"Oolong why are you so slow!" Goku turned around and complained.

"Tch, it would be easier if you carried me like Bulma is!" Oolong complained exhaustedly and mumbled "I lost all my strength from the diarrhea..."

Bulma was really weak and couldn't even stand on her own anymore, Kalan kindly carried her on his back like he had offered earlier.

"What kind of place is this!" Bulma complained while sitting on Kalan's back.

"It can't be helped. We can't get to Mt. Frypan without going through here..." Oolong tiredly said.

"Do you think there's a hotel or inn around here?" Bulma foolishly asked.

"There's no way there is any!" Oolong said.

"No! I'm not doing this anymore!" Bulma waved her fists.

"I'm hungry! I'm want a bath! I can't sleep unless I'm in a bed!" Bulma threw a tantrum.

"Quite the princess habit, ey? Without the luxury of her capsules, she'll not be able to survive on her own..." Kalan thought and shook his head. He did not like people that could not adapt. If you're out in the wild with no equipment, you have to hunt your own food, find or make a shelter. If one cried out like Bulma in the woods, who knows if a hungry wolf would come chomp her up.

Kalan was about to take out a capsule storage filled with food for Bulma to eat, but she fell asleep while carried by Kalan.

The following part of the story was quite similar, but with small deviations. Since Kalan had a bunch of food, and as a Saiyan. There is no way he could possibly just stand there and starve with them when he is hungry. So he just brought out some food and shared with Goku. Bulma was asleep, and Oolong was hiding his motorhome capsule. So Kalan did not give Oolong any food.

Yamcha came riding on his car to rob them, but since Goku wasn't hungry, he easily defeated Yamcha and even knocked out one tooth. Yamcha's new look looked hilarious and made Kalan have a fit of laughter. Yamcha quickly retreated on his car and shouted he would be back for revenge. Yamcha had also recognized Grandpa Gohan's power pole since it was the one and only unique pole that could extend at will. Goku honestly told him that his grandpa gifted him the pole for his adventure.

Knowing that Kalan would refuse to give him food and let him starve, Oolong reluctantly revealed his motorhome capsule. Bulma woke up pleasantly surprised inside the motorhome bed. Upon learning where the motorhome came from, he scolded Oolong angrily. She immediately jumped into the bathroom and started showering.

Kalan and Goku practically cleaned out Oolong's motorhome's storage of food.

Like in the original story, Yamcha had sneaked outside the motorhome and overheard Goku and Oolong's conversation about the Dragon Balls. Upon learning that any wish was possible, Yamcha decided to steal the dragon balls to wish for his fear of women to disappear.

"Why do you like girls so much? Did you know that girls don't have a peepee or balls?" Goku said to Oolong during their conversation.

*Dong* Bulma just came out of the shower and overheard Goku, she knocked him on the head.

"What kind of stupid things are you spouting?" Bulma berated.

"Was not having a peepee or balls supposed to be a secret?" Goku mumbled.

"Pfff. I wonder how Goku even managed to have kids." Kalan laughed in his mind.

Oolong generously handed everyone a glass of 'juice'. He had naturally spiked it with sleeping pills.

Because Yamcha knew he was not a match for Goku, he did not fire a rocket at their motorhome and destroy it. He instead put a tracker on it and sneakily tailed them from afar. Since they already had 5 balls, it won't be long before the group manages to gather them all. He hoped to somehow steal the dragon balls once they group had managed to gather all 7 balls. Or even find a weakness of the group.

The group arrived in Mr. Frypan. The air was hot and they could a large mountain on fire with a top of the mountain. They closer they came, the hotter it became and even the air turned blurry from the heat. But Kalan who had trained in the extreme weathers in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber did not feel the heat being unbearable.

Dilapidated houses could be seen all around them, it seems that it used to be a populous area before the fire descended on the mountain, renaming the Chilling Mountain into Mt. Frypan.

The dragon radar pointed at the castle, so they had Goku ride on his Flying Nimbus to see if he could get the dragon ball in the burning mountain.

Goku took the dragon radar and flew to the burning mountain. After awhile he came back with his tail on fire and flew toward the river.

*Splash* Goku immediately jumped into the river.

*Bang* Suddenly a giant axe almost as large as a human hit the wall behind the trio, just a few centimeters from touching Bulma's head.

*Dong Dong Dong* Heavy footsteps was heard as the ground shook slightly with each step taken.

A giant man over 4 meters came in front of the trio. His giant shadow covered the trio. He stepped forward and took his axe.

"What are you doing here?!" The giant man said in a loud voice.

"Uwaaah!" Bulma and Oolong shouted in fear upon seeing the man. He wore a helmet with 2 ox horns.

"Y-You're Mr. Ox right...?" Bulma asked in a shaking voice.

Oolong peed his pants and shook in fear.

"You didn't come here to steal my treasures, did you?" The Ox King asked sternly.

"Hm... So it seems he purposely missed the axe throw to intimidate us and then he interrogates us..." Kalan thought and scratched his chin.

"Well? Tell me!" The Ox King put his face in front of the trio and asked in an intimidating manner.

"N-No! No! We were just passing by! Right?" Bulma said in a shaky voice. And turned her head and asked her companion's agreement.

"Y-Yes! Yes!" Oolong hurriedly nodded with his mouth shaking.

"Really?!" The Ox King approached and put his face in front of Kalan and said in an intimidating voice.

"Hahaha, so fun watching the two of them shaking is fear! Let me add some fuel to the fire!" Kalan thought mischievously.

"Oh, we really just came here to take a golden ball from your castle." Kalan said honestly.

"Ugwaaah! KALAN YOU IDIOT!" Bulma shouted with tears in her eyes.

"We're doomed!" Oolong shouted in a despairing voice.

"So you really are thieves!" Ox King said and raised his axe.

"Uwaaaa! Goku!!" Bulma cried out.

"W-Wait! This is a mistake!" Oolong hurriedly said.

"Silence! I'll kill you all!" The Ox King said angrily.

Kalan hurriedly took a few steps forward since he knew the Ox King would attack them, so he decided to be the one to step forward and 'fight' him. Since Goku had not come back yet, the rest of the group would be chopped if they met the Ox King's axe.

*Swish Swish Swish* The Ox King chopped and slashed his axe at Kalan, but missed each time. Kalan made sure to step away from the group so they would not be affected.

*Bang Bang* Several times, the Ox King chopped hard and sliced the ground, Kalan was like a leaf in the wind, no matter how the Ox King tried to chop Kalan. Kalan would be a small margin away from being touched by the axe, each time. Like a leaf being blow away by the wind, and the axe was the wind which kept blowing Kalan away from it's edge.

"Uwaaa! The Ox King is so strong!" Oolong exclaimed upon seeing the smashed and sliced ground.

"But he can't hit Kalan! Maybe we have a chance! Go Kalan!" Bulma cheered at Kalan.
