Leonard fell down to the floor grabbing his own throat in a choking manner as the golden liquid seeping out from his mouth, his eyes were bloodshot and veins popping from his forehead.

"Arghhhh!!!!!" Leonard howled to the pain that was burning his throat.

"Endure it Leonard, what doesn't kill you will make you stronger." his grandfather encouraged him to endure the burning pain.

"What the hell?! Does every great power come with great suffering?! What the fuck is this shit?! It burns ahhh!!! It burn!!!" Leonard inner chibi lashed out while his human body writhed in pain.

He struggled on the ground for what felt seemingly like an eternity of suffering and torment as the golden liquid burn his inside and then subsided.

"Look like he survives the blooded ritual… " among the people that was waiting below, a middle age man narrowed his eyes has he looked at Leonard who was breathing heavily on the ground, cover from head to toe in sweats.

"Lucky bastard, yes that was just a fluke… there's no way the son of that whore and a peasant could pass the blooded ritual... " the man grinded his teeth as he thought.

It took a full minute before Leonard finally gotten control of his body once again and recovered from the exhaustion that he had to gone through after taking the chalice of golden liquid.

He sat up and take in a long breath of cool air, which chilled his lung somewhat and let it out in a long deep let out, the moment he let out that breath of air- what really came out was visible hot steam that had accumulated within his body.

"That was… unexpectedly painful…" Leonard commented as he slowly opened the both of his eyes and let the light of the world shined on them once again.

Revealing to the world that changes had occurred to them, they're no longer azure blue, the color of sapphire and that of the sea, no… they've changed, the blue color had been replaced by a tint of bright gold, shining like that of a star.

"What is this…" Leonard muttered as he could now see the world itself in a whole new light, it was much more vibrant than that of his previous mortal sight.

Leonard a short moment to inspect the changes that the system informed him, he was really surprised by it all, just a cup of burning hell could actually raise his power by two realm… that was just...pure insanity, imagine what would happen if he were to drink a pool worth of the golden burning liquid from hell- but his grandfather next words was like a bucket of ice cold water splashed on his body.

"If you're thinking about drinking more from the sacred pool, that is impossible- anymore and your human body might not be able to handle and it and you will die from implosion…" his grandfather sternly told him.

"Body implosion? Really? System, will that happen to me if I were to drink more of the burning liquid?" Leonard asked the system through a mental command.

"I see...but I will be able to drink more...right?" Leonard asked once again.

"Fantastic…" Leonard grinned as he looked at the pool of power before his eyes.

"I can see that you made a great breakthrough...congratulation, Leonard." his grandfather congratulated him after feeling the power that radiated off of Leonard body.

"Not many had made such a great breakthrough before, other than myself- the first Emperor and the Second Emperor, no one had made such an achievement." his grandfather than added.

"How many realms did the water from the well of power help you break through, grandfather?" Leonard asked the old man curiously.

"I broke through three rank, just like you are...I am now an outlier, the realm above the four heaven gate, the realm of the saint!" the old man declared proudly.

"Saint?" Leonard inner chibi couldn't help but to smirk at the old man declaration, Leonard wonder what would happen to him if he were to tell this old man that, his current rank and power was weaker than the beef that he bought with spare changes from the Crossroad of World's.

"From this day forward, I named you, Leonard Welser- De Romanii, prince of the Romanii Empire and the right to bear the royal family coat of arm and the privileges of royal anywhere within the empire and it allies, next- the Sunbreeze manor shall be handed to you, I can't have a member of the royal family homeless without an estate, else it would be a great embarrassment." his grandfather told him and declared.

"As a bonus and a congratulatory gift, I shall grant you the authority to visit the royal armory and withdrawn any one piece of treasure of your desire." he added- much to envy of the people down below, they were wondering, why didn't they have such great privileges when they started their blooded ritual.

"Don't give me that look, my grandson broke through three realms after consuming from the well of power, I would have give you the same privileges if you were at least half as talented as him." the old emperor narrowed his eyes at his other children and grandchildren, which made all of them break out in cold sweat as the pressure were crashing down on their body.

"You should thank your grandfather, Leonard...the armory of the royal held many rare treasure collected by the previous emperor during their reign and the first founder as well, each of those treasure could easily buy off a kingdom at the minimum price." his brother told him.

"Treasure that could easily buy off a country?" Leonard thought for a moment.

"Interesting…" he thoughted, even though he too held within his inventory equipment that could do the same- and the purchasing power as well, he was curious as to what held within the royal family collections throughout the ages of the Empire, from the history book that he had looked through during his free time, it stated that the Empire itself existed before the dark ages and survive through it- albeit only as a small minor kingdom at that time, but they're nonetheless, one of the survivor, they might held secret that was lost throughout the ages- it was those secret that tempted Leonard, if creation such as the fountain of power exist, there must me more to this world then it looks.
