Mr. Lu and Mr. Xu frowned when they read the report. Mr. Xu pounded his fist on the table in frustration.

"That's outrageous!" Mr. Xu was furious. "The general is right. The Dongsang Kingdom is trying to blame Princess Yan Ling's death on the Junwu Empire!"

Mr. Lu frowned as well. Crossing his hands behind his back, he paced back and forth in the main hall. "This is big."

Mr. Xu said, "You don't say! Something big is going to happen!"

Mr. Lu and Mr. Xu had no idea that the Dayan Empire wanted to destroy the Junwu Empire. All they knew was that the Dongsang Kingdom wanted to use the Dayan Empire to destroy the Junwu Empire.

"Where's the general?" Mr. Xu asked hastily.

Mr. Lu said, "The general has sent a message. He's cultivating with Master Linghu and won't be back for a while. However, Master Linghu will keep an eye on things here. The Dongsang Kingdom won't be able to do anything to us for the time being."
