Starting My Adventure (1)

After 3 hours of flight, finally the plane landed in Thansonat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City.

Lee Shin is very excited because it's her first time to go backpacking and it's not weeks, but indefinite when she will be back home.

After the immigration stamp and baggage checking, she hurriedly lined up to the taxi bay and told the taxi driver to send her to her hostel room.

It's not that crowded hostel compared to what she read about dorm situation. It's clean and everyone is minding their own business. It's a backpacker's dorm mixed with female and male, some are Caucasians and some are Asians. Her bed is at the far left corner beside an Asian lady who is busy typing something on her laptop. When she approached her bed, the lady looked at her and smiled. Lee Shin smiled back at her and she felt that the lady is nice.

"Hi! I am Lee Shin"

"Hi! Nice to meet you! I am Huynh Thu. I am a Vietnamese but I am from Hanoi. Just arrived here to just travel around." She cheerfully introduced herself.

"That's great! It's my first time here in Vietnam and I am a newbie backpacker" Lee Shin replied.

"Amazing! I want to go backpacking as well but as of the moment my parents only allowed me travel within the country."

"Well, we have the same experience but I managed to persuade my family about it."

"Where do you plan to have dinner later?"

"I don't know. It's my first time here so I have to check first where."

"Well if you are not that picky, I will recommend you trying banhmi. It's a baguette bread stuffed with meat and vegetables."

"ok then. Later, I will just rest for few hours and then we can go"
