"You did such an excellent job, Chynna!" Ling laughed before giving Chynna a high five.

"How did you get the courage to interview him?" Lee inquired with a raised brow. "I mean, he's in the Mafia group."

"Your story is the top gossip of the town, everyone is talking about the female journalist who goes by the name Wang Chynna and her amazing work," Ling said.

"It's not a big deal." Chynna grinned. "I interviewed a person who I believe everyone wants to know about, and Li Jun is the perfect match."

Ling chuckled. "You never cease to amaze us, always doing the impossible."

"Thank you." Chynna giggled. "But don't flatter me too much."

"Chynna you did a marvellous job but from now on please be careful," Lee advised. "What you did is amazing both it's really risky to you."

"How so?" Ling inquired.

"Li Jun is a member of The Albanian mafia and I'm sure they must have seen this already," Lee said. "The Boss will not like such a thing like this, and I'm sure he will do something about it."

Chynna rolled her eyes. "I don't care about some Boss who believes he is some God and besides what can he do to me aside from leaving an empty threat for me."

"Are you mad, Chynna?" Lee shrieked. "That man is a devil in disguise, he's wicked and scary."

"And also so hot." Ling drawled, bitting her lips slowly. "I've heard that he's so strong and he's also good in bed."

"Seriously? Did you have to bring up this topic?" Chynna sighed.

"Chynna, I'm dead serious," Ling said. "If he would ever hold my hand, I won't wash again."

"Oh?" Chynna laughed at her friend's face. "What's so special about a guy like him?"

"Rich and sexy Chynna," Ling said. "Evil has a handsome face, haven't you heard about that?"

"Ling, why waste your breath on Chynna?" Lee teased. "She's not like other girls who want to get a rich and sexy boyfriend for herself, a girl like her will be content when her younger brother is happy and doing well, she will even be happy if she remains unmarried."

"Whatever." Chynna chuckled.

"Hello ladies." a husky voice prompted them to turn around. "How are you all doing?"

"Delun!" Lee and Ling drawled, adjusting their sitting posture so he could glimpse their legs. "We are fine what about you?"

"I'm okay," he said, sifting his gaze to Chynna. "Excellent job Chynna, everyone is talking about you."

"I know that Delun," Chynna said to him.

"I wanted to know if you will be free tomorrow Chynna, we could grab a coffee or watch a movie," he suggested. "Are you in?"

"Of course she's in." Lee chipped in. "Chynna is always free during the weekends, isn't that Ling?"

"Of course, Delun." Ling gigged. "Chynna is all yours tomorrow."

"No, I'm not," Chynna said. "Delun I'm sorry but tomorrow is the weekend and I love spending time with my younger brother so I can't make it."

"Okay" Delun muttered before walking away, disappointment clouted his eyes. He was hoping to finally make a move on the girl he had liked for months, but unfortunately for him, she's not interested.

"Seriously Chynna." Lee cried. "You turned down any amazing outing with one of the hottest guys in your place of work all because of your younger brother."

"Girl Jin is not a baby anymore, Chynna," Ling said. "You need to live for yourself, not your younger brother. Delun likes you a lot, he's hot, sexy and has the cash to keep a lady like you happy."

"Lee and Ling, what I do with my life is none of your business." Chynna snapped at her two friends. "I think you guys have work to do so get to it."

"Alright we will get to it." her friends said, hissing and gossiping about Chynna on their way out.

The sound of her phone cut her thoughts short, Chipmunk appeared on the Caller ID which caused a smile to tug on her face. She saved her younger brother's line as Chipmunk cause it was a sweet name to her, although he never liked it.

"Hello Chipmunk!" she squeaked immediately she picked the call. "How are you?"

"I told you to remove that name from your phone and save my number as Bruh." he fumed.

"Quit it, Chipmunk," she said. "I like that name because of your chubby cheeks that I like to pull besides Bruh is a name for super cool brothers, not chubby cheeks brothers."

"You are so.."

"Perfect. I know." Chynna giggled. "You didn't answer my question."

"I'm fine," Jin said.

"So why did you call?" Chynna inquired.

"I called to ask and tell you something important," he replied.

"Go ahead."

"Did you interview Li Jun?" he asked.

"You know me well enough." she laughed.

"So it's a yes?" he said.

"Hell yeah," she replied.

"Why did you do that?" he asked. "You know how dangerous The Boss is."

"I'm not scared of any Boss," she said, playing with her black curly hair.

"I pray God helps you." her brother sighed. "Now the important news."

"Go on!"

"I aced my entrance exams into The American University." he squeaked.

"Oh my God!" Chynna yelled. "That's amazing!"

"My acceptance letter will be sent tomorrow," he said. "I'm so happy."

"Me too." Chynna laughed. "A special dinner and a trip to the movie tomorrow to celebrate."

"Hell yeah!" he yelled. "Okay bye love you, sis."

"Love you too, bro."

~I'm so happy for my brother, but all these talks have made me thirsty.

"Chynna!" a female voice called out my name as she barged into my office. "We need urgently you at The Chief Editor's office."

Glancing at her slightly wet top, she sighed before giving her a nod. "I will be there in a minute."

~Great now I'm wet, I wonder why he's calling me now?

She buckled up her blazer so that the wet spot could be covered before she left for The Chief Editor's office, but little did she know someone deadly is eagerly waiting for her arrival.

"You called for me, sir," Chynna said immediately she arrived at The Chief Editor's Office, her eyes couldn't make out anything because of the darkness that lurked around the room

"Sir, why are the lights turned off?" she inquired.

"Because sometimes darkness gives up a mysterious look." a voice said. "Don't you agree with me, Chynaa?"

Chynaa's eyes opened up. "Who are you? And how did you get it into this office?"

"Don't bother about that just know that I'm impressed with the brief interview you did on Li Jun. I must warn you to stay away from us unless there will be consequences." the voice threatened.

"I'm not scared of people who hid in the dark and believe they can intimidate me." Chynna snapped. "Show yourself if you dare."

"I love dares but today I'm not in the mood for it, just know I want you to stay away from our group." the voice said.

The lights came up, but an empty chair stood in the centre of the room.
