An adventure?

(3rd Person POV)

"So they're Zanpakuto. And you say they can withstand the waters of the Hakkotsu Jigoku?", Tenjiro asks Oetsu.

"Sure. But don't believe me. Rather try it out. How about it boys, care for a bath?", Oetsu asks the two men he had created. They looked similar to the two from the manga/anime.

Tenjiro and Oetsu have become good friends and they understand each other and respect each other for their respective abilities and inventors of something special.

Tenjiro created Kaidō: Also known as Healing Kido or "Healing Spiritual Arts". These spells do not have known names, numbers, or incantations to cast, and simply heal the target. It was this that earned him the spot as a Royal Guard member. But it didn't stop there. Tenjiro also created both the 'White Bone Hell' and the 'Blood Pond Hell'.

What were these things?

White Bone Hell:

A clear hot spring surrounded by a number of small waterfalls featuring a giant sōzu. A sōzu consists of a bamboo tube or pipe that is balanced on a pivot in such a way that it can be tipped to pour water into a stone basin below.

By submerging the injured beneath the waters of this spring, any damaged Reiatsu within their body is slowly driven out along with their blood.

Kirinji can manipulate the water's temperatures and movement, using it offensively to burn opponents. He used it in a fight with Oetsu to show his strength and they just had some fun and wanted to spend the time. It was indeed very hot, but Oetsu was of a different breed so that was no problem for him very quickly.

The second thing he created was the Blood Pond Hell.:

Blood Pond Hell is a steaming hot spring that looks to be filled with a pool of boiling blood. Its purpose is to replenish the blood of those who have already undergone treatment in the White Bone Hell. The water can be used during battle to replenish a comrade's lost blood.

Overall it was a nice little invention in Oetsu's opinion. He never focused on healing technology due to not needing it, but he was happy to have someone who could respect the work and dedication you put in when creating or inventing something.

.

The White Bone Hell however, due to the high-speed healing and intense properties of the water, can cause the bodies of the afflicted to erode and rupture if they are not durable enough. Tenjiro asked Oetsu whether he might have a solution to that problem, which immediately hit Oetsu's fancy and he got to work.

Funnily enough, Tenjiro first came to Oetsu with this task instead of going to Senjumaru who would have been the obvious choice. But he didn't know her that well enough yet and instead opted to ask Oetsu. Never one to back down from a challenge, Oetsu created the idea of the protective clothing in a few minutes and then told Tenjiro about it.

The White Bone Hell in Oetsu's opinion required special protective suits made from super spiritual threads to reduce any injuries sustained to mere burns. Oetsu guessed that the thread that Senjumaru had at hand would even burst into flames from the damage sustained once discarded.

.

It didn't matter for the moment. Together Oetsu and Tenjiro went to Senjumaru and asked her about the special spiritual clothes. She was of course interested too and began her work. During the time she was making those, Oetsu thought of something different. A better solution than the one they had with the protective garments.

And that brought him back to his forge. He once again began to make a Zanpakuto. Two to be precise. The last time he did that was for the Forging Five, but that was long ago. Now he was far superior to the past and his speed at forging the perfect things he wished was seriously fast.

So not even two days later he was finished with two new Zanpakuto's that only had one job. They were to help Tenjiro Kirinji in his work at the hot springs. They were heat-resistant and also corrosion-resistant. Oetsu created them to be twins as a little bonus. Why that is a bonus well ...

.

.

Tenjiro and Oetsu first tried the garments that Senjumaru made. They were really good and would suffice for short periods. But that is not good quality. The best quality is the one where if you change something it is because you want to make it better and not because it has mistakes.

"All right boys, get inside the White Bone Hell first and then we'll see how it works out.", Tenjiro said to the two Zapakutos.

"Yes!", they said and entered the hot spring.

Tenjiro had lowered the temperature a lot. It was the first testing and he didn't want to have melted Zanpakuto in his hot spring if it didn't work out. But Oetsu knew that it would work. He had created them after all and he knew that this was not enough to make them melt ...

The two got in and then waited. They splashed some of the water on them and looked at Oetsu and Tenjiro.

"So, do you feel anything?", Oetsu asked.

"Nothing. We can't feel any sort of pain. We can feel that it is warm, but that's it."

"Well then, Tenjiro increase the heat gradually and we'll see if they feel it at one point.", Oetsu told Tenjiro.

"Alright then."

Tenjiro gradually increased the heat of the hot spring. But nothing happened. The two were just standing there, without getting burned or feeling any sort of pain. It was a good thing too, because the White Bone Hell wasn't just heat, it was like acid for those with too little resistance.

"Seems like they work perfectly. Thank you Oetsu.", Tenjiro said.

"Oh, it was nothing. I enjoyed making them. I am also interested if we can improve some things around here. Senjumaru doesn't call me as much ... well I guess that is also partially my fault."

"How so?", Tenjiro asks.

"Well, I usually spend months inside my forge or lab and create things. That can be annoying if you are waiting for me to talk or spend some time with me."

"So you and her were ..."

"I mean ... no. I was interested in the beginning, but she seemed to hold me at a distance you know. And I never really managed to decrease that distance. So instead I began to concentrate on my projects again and well ... that didn't help.", Oetsu said.

It was true. Oetsu had made a great effort to get closer to Senjumaru in the beginning. And while it seemed to work, she got cold feet and then kept Oetsu at arm's length and not closer. He tried to get closer to her but without luck.

This might change in the future though, because another member was going to join the Royal Guard and that was Kirio Hikifune. Kirio was a beautiful lady with the ability to store Reiatsu in her body. And apparently, she used fat cells to do that.

Oetsu had an idea that might interest Kirio. Because there was a form of weakness in showing those around you how much spirit energy you had left by your appearance. In a fight, you would appear as out of energy and the enemy would use that chance. So Oetsu had an idea that might interest her.

Oetsu wasn't that petty to hold it against Senjumaru that she wasn't interested in him. You can't argue with taste. If she didn't like him, that was her choice and he could respect that. But he didn't have to continue to spend that much time with her. He had plans at the moment.

It was time for another adventure.

.

.

(Oetsu POV)

I was back in my lab and was tinkering with something. It was necessary for my plans. I had used some time to create the two Zanpakuto ... ok not that long. But I had spent some time with Tenjiro.

The man was cool. He was a proud but easygoing guy who enjoyed himself some sake and hot spring. What was there not to like about him? Well, I guess the fact that you couldn't stand right in front of him due to his hair. He was a fast and very skilled fighter. Our spars were usually undecided ... obviously, I was holding back A LOT.

He wouldn't stand a chance for a millisecond otherwise. I learned his Shunpo and then ... I improved it. My abilities were off the charts. That is also why I was now finishing this little project and then going on another adventure.

It has been a long time coming. But I am finally going to use the Portal Gun again.

Where I'm going? Well, to another world. I managed to upgrade the Portal Gun to be able to travel to other Universes and he has one in mind where he went to already.

One Punch Man!

Why did I want to go there? Well, I wanted to fight some strong people there. Especially the ninjas and swordsmen. First, I want to fight the pupils of Atomic Samurai and maybe learn from Atomic Samurai himself. If that wasn't possible then I would just challenge him to a fight and learn that way...

... now that I think about it. That might be the better idea. Why would I care about the weak pupils if I could just go to the sensei himself?

And after Atomic Samurai came Flashy Flash. That man was still stronger than me. Very surprising but it's true. His speed is beyond Lightspeed and I have no way to keep up with that. But if I fight him, I should be able to ... after a while.

.

So I finished up this small, but important piece of technology and then made my way to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Ever since I had it built, I kept my storage in here. The reason? Because I didn't want Ichibe to find them and steal them.

I was smart enough to do that. I was also smart enough to not be in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber when he came to take away my name and give me a new one. Because that would have ruined my plans and Ihcibe would have understood that my storage must be somewhere similar.

I didn't have any idea about his powers at that point and still needed to research it. So I wasn't sure whether he might find a way to forcefully enter the separate dimension that was the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

.

I made my way into the HTC and grabbed the Portal Gun. Finally, after all this time, I could get some fresh air and leave this prison. I would much rather not have this 'honour' of being a Royal Guard but have some fun.

While Tenjiro is cool and Senjumaru is also cool, I would like to meet new people, experience new things that I want and go to Hueco Mundo whenever I wish. Up here I wasn't able to ever do anything, apart from creating new things and forging.

But now I was going to leave for the world of 'One Punch Man'.

I dialled the coordinates of time, space and dimension. There were trillions of different ones that were hard to navigate through without this Portal Gun.

A portal opened and I stepped through.

.

.

What greeted me on the other side was ... destruction. I saw a destroyed City. Everything was rubble and I could hear screams and the wailing of those that were stuck. There was only one building still standing, the Heroe's Association. The purple monstrosity managed to stand tall.

I looked up to the sky and saw ... a giant purple spaceship. The ship is shaped like a tooth. The ship was massive in size; it was large enough to cast a shadow over the majority of A-City. It was this spaceship that had just fired a single shell bombardment and destroyed 99.8% of A-City.

It looks like Boros and the Dark Matter Thieves have just arrived and the scenes from the anime and manga were about to take place. I wonder if I could also get in on the action. I mean I have a sword just like them and am strong ... I do want to fight Lord Boros and push myself.

With my abilities, it wouldn't be hard to grow strong enough to defeat him. Well, it's decided then. I'll go and fight Boros as well.
