Spurned lover

Chujiang was far too proud of herself. Xie Bian was loath to indulge her, but his curiosity was burning a hole through his chest.

"What question?" he asked, through gritted teeth.

At his side, Fan Wujiu's face was once again a mask of indifference. Xie Bian hoped one day he could teach him how to wield it in the same way he did a weapon.
