my father had a hobby to make as long ash "tip" while smoking without it falling off... and me as 5 year old kid liked to "play" with his cigarettes... i didn't break or snap any but the "paper" around tobacco was all crumpled and it prevented my father having his "long ash contest" hobby... so without getting noticeably angry he sat me down and asked "If you really like playing with my cigarettes the why don't you smoke one." After taking one inhale and coughing few times the 5 years old me didn’t consider "cigarettes" as "fun" anymore. ------ Personally if the smoking culture didn't fade away so much i was considering repeating the "one smoke at 5 years old" with my own kids.

my father who was a "chain smoker" really liked that joke too... and thanks to him I'm not smoking since i was 5 years old 😅
