Ending felt a little rushed, just like most novels but this was one of the better novels I've read on this app.! My only regret is that I expected Xinhui and Sun Mo to have a better relationship but oh well...

I have to say, I absolutely hate novels that are written in single line paragraphs. It completely destroys the flow when I'm reading. I gave a try to this novel and As A Cardinal I don't do overtime novel. The writing style made it so hard to read. I'm dropping both of them from now on

This is why I say read before you talk about it. You said 99% of such are trash, which even I agree with. This is among the other 1%. And regarding the MC, I'd say he's totally different from what I expected from this kind of novel. No arrogance, not stupid. He's funny, cheerful and easygoing. You are entitled to your opinion and that's perfectly fine. But don't mislead others with reviews without reading. I can think of atleast 3 urban setting novels with minimum cliches and so many unique elements but haven't gotten any views because of those idiotic people who post reviews without reading. And again, I'm not talking about you here. I'm just justifying why I made the original comment. You should definitely give this a try. I won't say there are no cliches as it's definitely not possible to write such a novel. The reason why I want this novel to continue is just because of the protagonist's personality. It's a breath of fresh air in contrast to those arrogant pricks.

The people who say that are idiots. I'm sure most of them like repeated cliches in VRMMORPG type novels and complain when they see generic Urban/Wuxia novels. Some even rate the urban/Wuxia novels 1* without even reading a couple of chapters. Genuine retards they are.
