Yeah, a lot of stuff in the webnovel is going to be theory, so it might later be proven wrong in official lore. For instance, the explanation I came up with Banette’s evolution: its grudge is so strong, it can utilize a portion of it to form Shuppet. Shuppet, upon garnering enough grudges, will then evolve into Banette. In this manner, I don’t believe the game’s version of requiring a partner for Banette to breed is lore accurate—but I could very well be wrong on my theory.

This is one of the greatest webnovels ever created. I'm a huge fan of The Three Fiends, they are possibly my favorite RLCS team of all time. The being is a specific yokai, which has appeared in two video games as far as I know. I'll reveal which one it is in an upcoming chapter.

So—it's been slightly too long since the summoning has been used (though technically speaking, you could argue Roy's type of summoning doesn't count (and Kyon wasn't a summon, but a Contract)). However, the story is going to pick up after this. Summons are gonna happen more often, it's just, there's a bit of a floodgate. If it's overdone, it loses the novelty; if it's long overdue, the wait is dreadful. I'll try and balance it, but this is still the first story I've written/started writing. I'm still learning a lot more as I go, and would appreciate any and all criticism (constructive criticism I should add lol). Anyways, thanks to anyone reading this and giving it a try! :D

Tiny Edit: Wind energy has been changed from colorless to cyan. For whatever reason, cyan slipped my mind and I started describing it as colorless. Likewise, Roy's wind form scales/colors are cyan, instead of a greyish-hue.

Hope the chapters are enjoyable; would live to hear your thoughts. I’ve been trying to maintain at least 1 chapter per day. I might increase the release rate, with some days being 2 chapters as opposed to 1.

There’s like one anime w/ a system, but he never watched it. ;) Paired w/ the idea of having your own system, there would also be an intoxicating mystification which would entrance the “host”. There’s the most adequate explanation I can provide, or sneak in? Lol

Just to give a headsup, I plan on posting a separate book titled “Grimoire of Twilight,” where I’ll post all the characters up-to-date stats. Probably will post it later today.

As of now, my plans are on one chapter per day at the least. They are usually published at around 5:00 am eastern time. Plans on uploading an extra chapter regarding Edala and his past after this arc end—if anyone is interested in learning about him.

Story will become much more “Rentaro-focused” as this arc nears its conclusion and moves on to exploring the world he has found himself reborn in. I hope the upcoming events will be found interesting to say the least. Stay tuned if you’re interested in what I’m plotting.

I wanted to put an up to date stats, but there’s a problem with posting it. Mainly, where would I put it? If in the start, it would spoil it.
