As a collage grad myself, I know how real-world scholarships work. They are essentially gifts. Contracts? Interest rates? Asking for money back? Sending legal notices through email? None of this follows real-world laws. I get that this is an alternate world, but if anyone has legal problems, please see a lawyer. A consultation is free. If the lawyer thinks the case is promising, they can be paid through a part of your possible winnings.
Imagine buying a new wardrobe of pants and then growing 5 cm that day so none of them fit. 👀
What is that from? 👀
The US prints more than a hundred billion dollars worth of currency every year. Even if he got 100 billion out of nowhere, inflation is influenced by more than just printing money. Inflation in the US jumped from 1.4 to 6.5% in the past two years. It was mainly due to supply chain instability and other long lasting, pandemic related issues. A whole country’s economy is massive. The impact of one person’s spending is limited. Imagine that 100 billion increasing inflation by .5%.
The actual word “pavilion” refers to a shelter separate from a building like a circus tent. In this case, I think of the structure like that of a semi covered courtyard.
[insert flowery name here] Pavilion typically refers to the equivalent of a high-class strip club. The girls there serve snacks and alcohol and preform artforms like music and poetry and the other more obvious services.
Bronze isn’t made with equal parts tin and copper. Bronze is normally 88~% copper and 12~% Tin. Adding 2 Tin and 2 copper to 1 bronze changes the ratio to roughly 57% copper 43% tin.
Considwring that its 1 point for 10,000 credits, I think the 0’s dont match up. Since its 1000 IDLE points pretend its 10,000,000 credits.
He’s not trying to strike it rich right now. He’s lazy, and his current job pays what? 100-200k a year? 5 million is enough to retire on, regardless of age. Thats over 50 years of working he skipped. The only way normal Americans can acheive that is through ridiculous work ethic and an eventual license to practice medicine.
I don’t know about the government part. Think about how expensive it would be to staff a police force when they’d all need elite cards and training to keep up with crime. The profits are still ridiculous and unrealistic. MC is going to multiply the money he invests into the chests by 132. Its like real life on “easy-everyone-gets-rich” mode.
Maybe the anime portrays it differently then? I distinctly remember the hp sTiLl dRopPinG and him being like, “naH FAm, jUsT lEt Me diE”.
MC can always take a nap after fIghting, but if he fails the test, his friend is dead. He can’t wait a month to take the test again. MC is rushing, but no good would come out of conserving energy, especially if he doesn’t know the exact threshold for passing.
My guess is that energy sensing doesn’t sense energy, but instead uses it to feel out for solids. Kinda like a slug poking around with its antenae. The dust cloud must be too dense and make the whole thing “feel” like a solid.
Literally the only money this dude had was from the system... 🤣
I think the translation is correct in this case. He changed bodies if he has new memories like that, but he transmigrated to a futuristic world, perhaps even his original world’s future. Hence, time travel.
Anything over 100 is technically hundreds. I hear comments like that fairly often in webnovels, but I’m guessing it made more sense before translation.
It depends on the engineering major. I don’t know where you live if there’s an excess of engineers. Electrical and Computer engineers especially always seem to be in shortages.
