remember when author said the romance-mess would be solved "in the next 20 chapters"? I remember. But seems like he can't stop writing endless love-triangles. This kind of story "filler" is just lame in my opinion.

Sorry, Avan - it's nothing personal. I have anger issues when it comes to stories that are "almost perfect". It's like eating your favourite cake but suddenly finding a hair stuck inside. A single hair makes you contemplate whether to continue eating or throwing the whole thing away. Your story is a delicious cake, but every other piece seems to have a hair in it.

But I want to acknowledge that there actually has been some growth: He went through the "trust everybody" stage, and the "I can't kill my enemies" stage. So I have to admit, that you managed to make emery grow in these 400 chapters. All in all, I still like the novel (that's why I am still here despite me flaming you in the comments). It feels much more like a regular book than a web novel. I think you are a good writer, although I dislike many of your choices.

First, I appreciate the Author Note and apologize for cursing you many times in the comments (although I probably will continue, because it's the only way for me to release my frustration). -----The Problem isn't that you don't "kill her off". The Problem is that you let emery repeat the same mistakes again and again with no improvement in sight. If you want her to be a long-lasting part of the story, stop creating situations where they only way she survives is by neutering the main character. -----After reading your note, I still have hopes for emery to improve his mindset, but you have to understand that it's simply infuriating having to read through 400 chapters, yet he is still dumb as a brick. I can accept a main character that isn't the strongest and doesn't turn everything he touches into gold. But the problem is the exact opposite. Because he is so stupid, he needs all the plotarmor just to survive. That's not enjoyable.
