Grammar seems pretty good so far, but nothing special. The story seems shallow and doesn't appear to bring anything new to the table. But I have only read 7 chapters. It might get better later on, but so far it lacks anything that makes me want to continue reading.

Knights aren't soldiers! Knights are given land up to 5000 acres (20 km2). 10,000 Knights means 200,000 km2 per prince. Multiply that by 4 plus the king's knights and all the other nobles, that's a shot ton of land. To put that to scale, great britain has an area of 250,000 km2. Feel free to ignore me though. I just like math and research.

Perhaps it's like Canada; Lots of Land and few people.

Life can be harsh. Perhaps he was born in a poor environment and only just started his climb to greatest. If the car hadn't hit him, he might have eventually become the CEO of his company and revolutionalize his field. If Mozart never had the chance to see a piano in his life, would he still be a musical genius. These are just hypotheticals, besides who doesn't read fiction to step away from reality. One last thing for my little rant, I am not a believer in IQ tests, my impression of IQ tests is of questions that are highly cultural/historically biased. I imagine that a European would score lower on a US IQ test then they would on a European IQ test.

Mages have math problems. Warriors have biology problems. Archers have physics problems. Rogues play mini games to open locks. Priests have to write poetry.
