Those kinds of novels are annoying simply because we the reader already know that motherfucking mc isn’t dying any time soon. So when you look it from that way, all it looks is the author trying to make it seem like the mc is being “smart” and “witty” while in the end plot armor is what’s essentially keeping the mc alive.

If you’re a fan of slow paced levelling where the author is deliberately slowing his leveling then this is the novel for you. Because spoiler alert the mc is somehow still level 15 after 250 chapters and doesn’t bother levelling up even after being told that his entire planet is gonna be invaded by 8 different civilisation. The monologues are annoying and long winded, the author can spend 100 chapters to tell the same story he did in 250 but he’s milking the viewers as greedy webnovel authors usually do. There’s also a lot of useless info dumps and a dumb and plot armor childhoof GF that acts like an 8 year old child that’s being burdened by the MC as if he’s looking after a handicapped child. Basically the first 50 chapters where interesting but the author managed to somehow turn this novel into fillers slow pace where 1 day in the story is 3 months of waiting for the reader untill the chapters release

No system and no “level-up” whatever the author decided to clickbait by using level up. Weak-to-strong yet for 30% of the novels chapters the mc is still weak with no abilities, the author spend so much time building the mc’s character that everyone died of boredom, like who tf cares for 50 chapter that the mc is a weak piece of shit that can’t do anything, it was already es tablished in 10-15 chapter. Like imagine reading a story for 2 month since release and your lead character is still pathetic, Who even gets enjoyment watching a trash mc struggle with no progress happening, you gotto be special kind of sadist to enjoy that torture Basically you can skip 50 chapters and you’d be the same as if you just started reading, 0 progress.

When you read a novel watch a movie or follow any story there is a main character, and the main character is easily distinguishable from any other character because he’s either got some special ability power or inherent trait. Yet 120 chapters in and I feel as if the main character is just there to be the side kick. It’s not enjoyable to read when the mc goes through hardship and grows and yet he’s still average compared to everyone he’s around, it feels like I’ve gotten no progress and wasted my time following the storyline.

The mc is basically a mentally challenged retArd and a pussy for 50% of the Novel. even though he’s got a system , he’s no different or Special from any other character he’s met so far, and he’s even weaker than anyome he teams up with so At chapter 110 orso i couldnt be bothered anymore to wait for him to get grow up and decided to drop it instead of wasting my time. Imo it’s a pretty shitty way to do system novels and I’m surprised it ranked so high on this website

People are somehow choosing to ignore that these novels are written in chinese and then translated so the entire norm and culture there is entirely different. one thing you might find sexist in by our culture, Standards and world views might be completely normal over there.

Considering it’s ended in 500 chapter’:, i’m fine With the ending being rushed. since it was obvious what direction the novel was going after like 300 chapters. because usually authors dont stay consistent and entirely throw out the system tag from the novel and go another route halfway.

Pretty good read considering it’s 500 chapters And author managing to finish it without extending it to like 3000 chapter which usually happens.
