The hidden danger would be present if you selected a bride or not. You can not always tell what is in someone heart and how much they will fake it. Instead you would have possibly two equally dissatisfied people from the start instead of over time.
I am somewhat confused by the author's need to make ever female rival/villain sympathetic. I get it, people's lives can be awful. They can be a product of their environment. But if they do bad things, continue to bad things without any reflection or striving to improve. They don't deserve redemption. The last girl, I can't remember her name, not only got over her obsession insanely quickly but seemed to have moved on as well in just a few chapters.
Maternity wear was patented in 1938, became fashionable in 1950s (again). it's been around for awhile now. I feel like a doctor specialized in OBGYN would know if it's existence.
Thank you!! Yes. None of this makes sense. Does she thinks having Xue Ni arrested won't cause problems for ML? Because by not telling him, she is just proving she doesn't trust him and that he is unreliable. The story is starting to drag and scenarios are starting to repeat themselves.
You're crazy if you thought you would be able to stand on the stage. You don't have the sing ability to do the song justice. Especially as a closing piece.
Why is this such an issue? You can't own someone's past before you have met them. That is just plain stupid.
Release a statement clarifying that woman is not your wife. Do it while you go get your woman.
You mean, Father? He's raised by a single mother. She's definitely still in the picture
Ugh, puh-lease. You don't own her. Stop feeling jealous because she wore shorts. Come on, are you that immature.
ugh. so freaking sexist
Wait, what? Shi Mo used a gun and they said he had to be a gangster because no one but gangsters or national security can have guns. So what does that make Mu Ye?
Isn't she 20? Is that still a child?
What would even cause something like that? Unless it is psychological.
That doesn't make it better. Even, if you sat her down and told her in a controlled environment, the fact of the matter is you brought her back to get married. If it wasn't for the marriage you most likely wouldn't have brought her home or if so not any time soon. I mean her direct family acts like they love her, but where the heck were they while she was growing up.
Put her in a cage? I'll with hold judgement for now, but I sincerely hope this does not mean he physically locked her up.
And so it begins . . . Whelp, better get the popcorn ready
What is this novel? Why in the past couple of chapters have my knee caps been taken out with all the romanticized pedophilia and as I am on the ground trying to get up, I've been kicked in the head with good old misogyny.
