I'd be rooting for Lin Ming too in fact if this story was following his POV. Generally people like to cheer for the underdog especially if they're the earnest and hardworking bunch. But too bad this is Wei Wuyin's story and you bet I'm rooting for him and his forces.
What currently Wuyin lack the most is precisely knowledge and time (due to his sin calamities). Wuyin simply doesn't have the time to take a break and actually sit down, read, and digest all the knowledge that gained and could've gained. This completely makes up for the his deficiency that he's been having up to this point in the story.
I really liked this volume that showed the perspectives of different characters other than Wuyin and how his actions can affect many many people. The soldier of war arc is also fun to read because not only does it give Wuyin a glimpse of what other cultivation civilizations are like beyond his own region but also give him the opportunity to procure materials, and knowledge that he would never be able to obtain in the grand stellar region. An added plus is that the arc is just the right length, not too long and not too short. All in all, thank you for this volume~ It was a great ride. Looking forward to your next volume but for now time to go back to seclusion~
I was expecting that after all, his explosion not only killed that demi-god, and injured the other ascended, but also killed a large part of the enemy mortal forces as well. I believe that him being only at gravity emission stage also give his achievement much much more merit as well.
Not really. Paul here is actually just morally good in terms of common sense by our society...for the most part. He tries to be true to himself and tries his best to accommodate the 'common sense' of Asura Kingdom no matter how disgusted he is with it hence he chose to tolerate his father's actions despite him not agreeing with it. He also knows not to bite more than you can chew hence that list he had of the people he wants to help but knows that he doesn't have the ability to unlike a lot of anime protagonist that just dives head first into a conflict without thinking about the consequences.
