Deep space exploration (or deep-space exploration) is the branch of astronomy, astronautics and space technology that is involved with exploring the distant regions of outer space. Basically I only used it because it's a real academic term. NASA has a more solid definition, but I am not a space-engineer lol

Sorry. I spent a few months on the storyboard and it is planned for at least 700 chapters. That's why I'm trying to keep my weekly chapter release to a steady 7~10 per week. Ideally raise it to 14+ by the 2nd month. There are a lot of details in the first arc that are supposed to set a base-line for the later arcs. The later arcs will be more evenly paced in comparison to the first one. I recommend checking it again after a few weeks or months if you want to binge-read. But if it's not your style, understandable.

Lafite is supposed to reflect "hyperinflation". This ties into an important part of the story; the part which will eventually explain why it became so valuable. Unfortunately, it is not well-explained at the start.

It was so cheap that he needed at least 2 million units of Lafite just to buy a coffee.

The key difference is that the 2nd intergalactic war was extremely destructive; to the point where a lot of different technologies were lost. So, after the 2nd war, new technologies were basically developed to fill in this "lost" gap. This is explored more in the later chapters when Erin figures out the differences between "current technology" and "artifacts". Minor content spoilers below, read at your own risk. . . . . . . . . It's just that some of the "newly developed" technologies are very similar to their original counter-parts. Especially because they had thousands of years to mature. This is intentional as it creates a setting where Erin misunderstands the current era's technological capabilities. During the early stages of story development, he realizes the innate differences between the "ancient" and the "new" technologies. Both have there pros and cons, and his decisions are dependent on which ones benefit him the most at a given scenario. This is also related to the "Monster" and "Beast Taming" portion of the story. However, I cannot explain that part without spoiling the chapters 22~26. So I'll try my best to release those chapters sooner!

'Plasma barrier! A simple transportation device is covered entirely by a plasma barrier?!' Erin was stunned by this show of wealth.

Personally, I think confidence and morale are critically important. I placed this review here just to reflect that. As of now, the story isn't really face-paced. Ideally, I think it would be better to increase the pace but I also don't want to compromise too much on the details or risk creating plot-holes. I do re-read and check things to minimize the plot-holes as much as realistically possible. I also take constructive criticism very seriously. I will try to incorporate every comment that seems feasible and beneficial for the story's growth. Overall, this is a long-term project with a lot of potential.

That actually connects to the main plot. I can't explain it yet without spoiling a significant part of the story. I understand the confusion so I apologize if this answer isn't enough. If it helps, I planned to reveal this around the 20-25% mark. (When the story is about a fifth to a quarter of the way through) The story-board I planned out extends for quite a while though. To make sure that the novel can catch up, I plan for a minimum of 7 chapters per week. As my rough drafts get better, I think 10 chapters per week is very possible. The goal is to increase this to 14 chapters a week by the 2nd month. Currently, I have about 12 chapters of very, very rough an un-edited work. tldr: this is a long story, will be explained eventually
