WAYFARER: CLAIM THE UNCLAIMABLE

For thirteen years, Sio has failed at the one thing every Veyr should be able to do: make a Claim. Nothing has ever accepted him, so one night, mostly out of frustration, he looks up and tries to Claim the sky. He doesn't expect the sky to actually break open. Something from the Passage tears its way into the living world and attacks him. Somehow, instead of losing his body to it, Sio wakes to find that he has finally made his first Claim, only to discover a Scar has appeared on his soul as well. A Veyr should never possess both. Now an unknown entity shares his soul, his new Claim bends distance in ways he barely understands, and the creature he Claimed had been running from something far worse. Sio spent most of his life believing nothing in this world would accept him. Maybe he was looking in the wrong world.
