As the author I have to give the book 5stars because if I don't, who will? But anyway, let me tell why reading this book is worth it and why it is one of the best football novels out there: 1- The MC: In his previous life, Julian was hailed as a generational talent, but unfortunately his career ended due to a mysterious injury. This is why he is very arrogant when talking about his skills, but he always ends up proving his words right. And he is only this arrogant with outsiders, but with his friend and loved ones he's a very lovable character with a sweet tooth and a awkward sense of humor. You'll see that he is a little bit delusional but this only makes him more interesting. 2- Worldbuilding: I'm very proud of my worldbuilding and I believe that it is one of my strong suits and what truly sets the novel apart from others. I give a detailed description of the world early on, which can make it a little slow at times, but I'm doing this so that the readers know the environment the MC finds himself in. 3- Realistic Romance: At the start it might seem rushed but I have a reason for this and you will see that the romance will take a slight backseat–but not always out of view–as the story progresses. The MC will have 2-3 relationship but will only date one girl at a time and when his relationships end, it won't be because someone cheated. The MC and his girlfriend(s) will be loyal and will only break up for valid reasons. Basically what I'm saying is: NO NTR!! 4- I'm passionate about writing this novel: The contract request for this novel was rejected but that didn't stop me from continuing with it and updating chapters. I love this novel and genuinely think that it is one of the best football novels out there regardless of the popularity and I think if you read it you will notice the same things. You might notice that the chapter updates is a little irregular but I always make up for this by releasing three or more chapters a day. I may make a lot of spelling or grammar mistakes along the way, but this is only because English is my third language and you will notice that these mistake become lesser and lesser as time passes. All in all, it's a great novel and you should defined try it, and if you don't agree with me, then you are welcome to call me out on my bs. I promise I won't take it to hard and will only sit and cry in the corner for a few minutes before regaining my confidence and give you the invisible middle finger.
