Ya I get that too - but it gets better as you read - first chapters are just for interest and can look boring after constant repetition of tropes. He does ramble forever - I guess all I can say is that it's made for those looking for the op mc who doesn't get enough work - more focused on others type of story - and is more focused on the intricacies of the world - almost similar to my novel in a way. Just read a few more chapters and see if you like the dynamic.

I can't believe I gave it five stars, it really is good. The story line is good, It definitely gets better check out ch0. I loved each chapter, I like how it flowed, and especially the twist and turns in ch4/5, they made my heart wait--- I didn't like the male lead at first, but he really got interesting really quick, not gonna spoil though. this book will have you thinking you know something you and still surprise you, so I urge you to read and be patient, its a good read.
