Writing Complex

A/N: I am kind of busy with my exams. See u after September (might release chap occasionally cuz I am a procastinator haha) WARNING: Slowburn too slow [Slice of life with a happy ending] Rowan, a 29 years old book editor has been living his life in his own silent way. Working his job, earning money, living life. But then...there was a break in the routine. A difference in his life. To his orderly mind, almost a problem. For a book editor, writers were of great importance and he was ready to help one anytime. But a new author had caught everyone's attention. Every editor, publisher, and reader. A author who delivered handwritten manuscripts to her readers, different stories for different people. Because to that author, a book is not a product to sell, rather a comfort to give. She did not write a book and publish it to make the story reach the public. She wrote for an individual, for one story is not meant for every heart. Rarely had they seen her deliver the stories at midnight and never had they get to know her name. Everyone was captivated by this anonymous writer. Newspapers full of her articles for months, lately. Fans named her "The Dreamweaver of Midnight". Rowan, who was always able to stay focused in his work, noticed a change. Curiosity. Why refuse money? Why anonymity? Why write on cheap paper? Why never keep copies? Why spend weeks on a stranger's dream? And these thoughts went on and on. He catches himself thinking: "This woman is wasting my time." Then another thought follows: "Why am I not stopping?" At first it's professional curiosity. Then intellectual curiosity. Then philosophical disagreement. Then admiration. Then... He notices he smiles whenever another article appears. That's when he realizes something has changed.
