The Gifts of Ruin

The Great War started between the Allies and the Axis. But it never had an ending — it went on for hundreds and hundreds of years and would not stop. Famine and diseases ran wild. Humanity almost drove itself to extinction. That’s when the mythical creatures stepped in and sent the Unicorn. The Unicorn was sent to a sick boy who was going to die of famine. It was sent so he could heal, heal others, and save humanity from extinction. The Unicorn was the first Gift. The Unicorn helped the Allies achieve victory by healing all soldiers and setting curses and entrapments onto the Axis. The years passed and humanity went back on the right path. Skyscrapers were built. The world was once again more united than ever. But that’s when Typhoon found out about this, and he sent the first curse to the world — the first curse being Cerberus, freed from his chains. The curse was given to a young boy who was chained up by his parents and left for dead outside their front door as a warning to any other peasants not to try entering the house. If they would harm their own son, they would harm anyone. Typhoon came to the boy and offered to free him from his chains in return for becoming Cerberus’s Avatar.
