When I started this I honestly thought it was gonna be pretty standard fantasy stuff. Like ok, kid falls, new world, hidden power, academy/kingdom stuff later. But nah… it just keeps not doing what I expect. Every time I think “yeah this is where it goes normal,” it just flips direction again. Not in a random messy way, more like the world itself just doesn’t follow normal rules. What I like is Shura isn’t just getting stronger or whatever. It feels more like he’s the only one actually noticing things are… off. Like everyone else is just living normally but he’s the only one going “wait this doesn’t make sense??” And honestly at some point it stops feeling like a typical fantasy and starts feeling kinda creepy in a lowkey way. Like reality is built wrong but everyone accepted it. Not gonna lie though, it’s a lot sometimes. There’s so many systems and terms and lore drops coming back to back. I don’t always fully catch everything on first read. Could use a bit more breathing room here and there. But it’s definitely not boring or generic. Even when I’m confused, I still wanna keep reading just because I want to know what Shura is actually gonna find out next. So yeah, not calling it a masterpiece or anything, but it’s way more interesting than most standard web novels. Feels like it could get really really good if it’s just tightened up a bit and made a little clearer in parts.
