To put it briefly... all the racing stuff got shoved to the side, the MC lost all her personality, and every bit of romance with the side characters got ignored in favor of McQueen being the final love interest. And then the Author had the other side characters, who've spent the entire novel pining for the MC and acting obsessive, react to the news of her and McQueen dating by essentially saying "Oh man, that's a shame. I'm still happy for you two!" Which felt super lame and forced to me. If it was just or two of these flaws, I could *maybe* overlook it and force myself to keep going, but when there's so much crappy writing all piled onto me like that... I can't really enjoy it no matter how much I try.

I'll have to pass. I don't translate RAWs from Novelpia. Too much of a headache.

Translator here! It's been a few months since I updated this. I originally planned to let some chapters build up and continue translating then, but after reading the most recent RAWs for the chapters, I've decided that I don't want to translate this novel anymore. To put it simply: The Original Author has lost the plot. Everything that I enjoyed about this novel ended up being thrown away, and I don't even want to keep reading it on my own, much less actually translate it for others to read.

I can't seem to find the RAWs. What website did you find it on?

It's hard to tell, but I *think* it's supposed to be an offscreen thing? The MC is characterized as a very kind person, and this is the type of things she'd do for random Umas.

The original Author just writes the races based on vibes. They're not accurate to the IRL versions.

There were definitely parts of this fic that had me angry when translating, but I don't think this is one of them.

I wish I could tell you the other fic's name, but I have no clue myself. The original Author never mentioned the collab fic's name, and I haven't been able to find it when I looked.

I left an Author's note the day I posted this chapter explaining why I wasn't going to continue translating it.
