If you want to write a story, just decide what the world will be like, then the characters, and what you will tell. It is not difficult to write a story, what is difficult is making the story come alive and memorable.

I don't think so, in my head there are mostly story concepts that I don't even know what genre to put them in, and my writing style has always been like this, :')
