Kairo The One Who Watched Heaven Burn
Kairo: The One Who Watched Heaven Burn
Genre: Dark Fantasy / Mythic Revenge / Seinen / Magic
Tone: Brutal, tragic, mythological, with heavy emotional weight
Kairo is the last blood of Zahrathos, progenitor of immortality—sworn for ages to carry out the will of heaven. When the First War erupts, the Old Gods are betrayed by their former disciples, the New Gods, who ascend by devouring their masters’ divinity. Kairo fights for the Old Gods and becomes the last obstacle to the usurpers’ throne.
At the war’s end, the New Gods fear the undying heir of Zahrathos. They tear the Aion-Sigil (the brand of immortal lineage) from his soul and sear him with the Lethe Brand, a heavenfire seal that burns away his memories while leaving his immortality intact—cold, automatic, and stripped of feeling. Cast from the broken gates, he falls from the sky like a cinder and wakes in the mortal realm knowing only his name and a single image: heaven burning.
Now in fragments he will fight the gods to avenge Zahrathos
